I feel bad for Milton… Jerry & the Cowboys are going to ruin him.

https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1899265330649907500?

Instead of drafting a QB, why not use a 4th or 5th that we could've used and just trade for Milton as the backup/possible qbotf?

I haven't seen him play personally, but quite a few people here have mentioned his name as an option...
No dude. Wake up man. Milroe is our franchise guy and will start next year probably or the year after. Look how the Packers developed Love in Green Bay. Milroe is a freak and will unlock the offense and running game kinda like how the Ravens use Lamar Jackson. His arm is special when dialed in

This was posted in March, before the draft. When Milton was still a Patriot.

Drew Lock is NOT a starting-caliber QB.
I’m not a starting caliber NFL QB. I’m guessing you’re not either. Drew Lock certainly is a starting caliber NFL QB. He has the skills and experience to start games in the NFL. His success behind center can be questionable at times. Currently this team might not have a superstar at QB but then again they might have more than one. Time will tell.

I am a Drew Lock fanboy, and speaking as one. To my untrained eyes, Lock has some ball placement issues; his throws often require a little extra effort from the WR. I don't know if it's a skill issue or mental.

Drew does have some speed, his 4.69sec 40 yards may not be in the league of Wilson;s 4.55, or Geno's 4.58; but better than Darnold's 4.85sec. Drew's ball velocity of 54mph is about the same as Wilson and Geno's 55, but better than Darnold's 52 mph.

Would the Seahawks been just as mediocre with drew lock the last few years or geno was just the man?

Possibly, we will never know. Drew did pull off that win against the Eagles when the whole season, heck, Pete's career with the Hawks on the line.
