You think this is a possibility. It was incredibly effective against the 49ers, though I wouldn't consider their receiving core elite or anything.

I think it made sense against the Niners because of the physical match-up with Boldin. Sherm and BB were really the only CBs on our team who could match up with him in that regard.

I'm a fan of moving Sherm around, why not? As long as it doesn't lead to some other schematic weakness, he's talented enough to cover anyone, anywhere, anytime. I have a tough time deciding between him and ET as MVP of the defense.
