I've been praying for a Mariners revival for years. 2001 was so wonderful, except for the end.

Meanwhile, there's the NCAA tourney. I'm originally from Wichita, and the Shockers are 25-0, and they remind me of the 2013-14 Seahawks--low-graded recruiting class, gutsy and focused players, toughness, passion ... and nevertheless dismissed because they are from a "small market." This will distract me until baseball season.

The draft is May, that means the Mariners simply have to stay in contention for one month. Am I being too wishful?

Nah I'm hoping for the same. That M's team a few years ago contended all the way until the AS Break; teams can play over their heads for a while. Just give me some entertainment to tide me over until training camp please.

Some good news about our UFAs re-signing with the team prior to March 8th would help bridge the gap.
