Screw this Ump! He put Woo on a bad position but turning 0-2 pitching in to 2-0 and forcing Woo to throw an easy HR ball for a 4-1 game.
Then 2 obvious balls, here calls strikes against JP. But JP makes him pay.

Context matters. Scotty pulled Woo after he was clearly starting to struggle a bit in the 6th and then gave up back to back base hits to start the 7th. And it wasn't a 4 run lead, it was 3.

Nah it was a terrible pull. If you pull your starter after 70 pitches and your BP gives up 4 runs few pitches later it's a terrible pull. Luckily Julio and France are having a day.

Can we call up Ford and send Zavala back down yet? My goodness.

They're in the middle of a 17 games in 17 day stretch, the end of a 30 games in 31 days stretch. Sorry, I have no problem with pulling him there. Problem has been a soft bullpen lately. They gave up the 3 run lead to waste Woo's quality start...again.

Nice to see the bats wake up, especially seeing them come from behind again. Can't just score 4 early and sit on that lead. Should have been building on it in the middle innings, but nice come back win anyway. Get to come home on an upbeat.

Woo was on a pitch count. He was getting very close to that count. He started struggling in the 6th, and then gave up back to back base hits to start the 7th. It couldn't have been more obvious it was time to pull him at that point.

That wouldn’t be the 1st time a starting pitcher is unhittable the manager brings in a reliever and chokes. I went to a Rainiers game back in the late 1990s/2000 Mariners had a pitcher named Ryan Anderson who was known as the little unit due to the comparison to Randy Johnson the opposing team was lucky to foul off a pitch dude goes 6 innings gets pulled reliever goes in and gives up back to back HRs with Rainiers losing 2-1

teams are really babying pitchers now a days pitchers before the 90s would go over 150 pitches, Nolan Ryan would pitch over 200 and never have any problems

Ryan was throwing complete games into his 40s
However I'm not so sure he threw more than 150,let alone 200 pitches
but your point stands.
Ever watch that NETFLIX documentary on Ryan? It's good.
