Four games in three days.

First pitch today at 6:40 pm PDT

Probables:
G. Kirby(8-4, 3.21 ERA)B. Garcia(1-0, 3.29 ERA)

Kirby up. If we can score some runs we should probably win.

Should be a hell of a pitching matchup tonight. I'm hoping we leave the stadium about 2 and a half hours after first pitch with a nice W

Jay fan here.I always liked the Mariners,(second team)
Would taking the 3rd. Wild card, and playing in Cleveland
not be the better match up ?

A week ago, I would have said yes, but then Cleveland got hot too. We do match up well with Cleveland.
After 21 years, I don't think it matters much. That being said, Cleveland doesn't even pack the house. I would think the crowds in Toronto would be a lot louder and intense.

Kirby off tonight. Down 3-1 in the 4th. Already 3 walks, lead off hitter makes base in 3 of the 4 innings.

Julio with a couple of base hits. Other than that, no offense yet.

Looks like we may need the Winky in the line up, lads.

Boyd with 3 good innings to save the bullpen for the double header tomorrow.

Bottom 8. Need some run production.

JK has smoked a couple of balls that found leather. Seems to happen when you are struggling.

Well we just lost our best utility guy in Hags. Thanks, Sam. You helped get us here. Godspeed.

No 5 seed. Rest of series doesn't matter for the standings, but would hate to lose many more to the Tigers.

Detroit has been on a roll, though.

The Haggerty injury didn’t look good.
Looked like an ankle. Hoping for just a tweak, but likely it’s more serious than that.

Swags was hurtin' for certain. Hate to lose him going into the playoffs. Will need that speed.

First pitch first game today at 3:10 pm PDT

Probables (not sure about these):
C. Flexen(8-9, 3.64 ERA)E. Rodriguez(5-5, 4.02 ERA)

Second game first pitch 30 minutes after finish of game 1

Probables (again, not sure):

M. Boyd(2-0, 1.35 ERA)E. Rodriguez(0-3, 10.04 ERA)

Not sure how often they update this schedule. It's been fairly accurate so far with starters.

Would suck to lose the last series to the Tigers.

We had a real good view of it from our seats, looked really bad and he was rolling around in pain. Looks like he couldn't decide if you wanted to slide or dive. It happens. Just a fluke injury. That's a huge loss to this team imo. They are almost guaranteed to be the 5. I have ZERO issues with them resting some guys up. Can't get the 4, that's done. And the magic number is only 1 for the 5 seed. Not only that, at the game, they were literally showing M's vs. Toronto highlights to hype up the playoff series. They are playing Toronto. Bring it on.

At Toronto. Gonna be super tough.

Castillo and Ray 1 and 2 for playoffs.

Gonna be about our pitching vs there power hitting.

Yeah Hags to IL, Toro called up. It’s definitely a blow. Don’t think they will miss his bat much, but will miss his speed, defense and the spark he brings.
