If I were a betting man, I'd take the Seahawks -3. The Texans rely a lot on their running game, and the Seahawks dominate when it comes to stopping the run. If Andrre Johnson is out, we should be able to shut them down. It will be a low-scoring affair most likely.

JJ Watt vs. our offensive line is scary. Watt is good enough to change an entire game on his own.

I think we win, but I think it will be ugly.. like the Carolina game.

As far as wagering goes, I would definitely lean to the under of the four sides.

JJ is amazing, but I think JJ is feared way to much. Lets look at their last 3 games and opponents.

They barely won against SD who put 28 points up against them.
They barely won against the Titans who put up 24 points against them.
They got man handled by the Ravens (who havent looked good at all) who put up 30 points on them.

Seattle is as good or better on offense then any of those teams.
Seattle is FAR BETTER on defense then any of those teams.

Any given sunday, yada yada, but cmon.

If the 10am bug bites us and Seattle plays like crap, we lose a nailbiter. If it doesn't... Seahawks win via blowout.

Pending tonight's game, the Seahawks and Texans are sitting at #1 and #2 top defenses in the NFL (according to NFL.com) respectively. Should be a defensive type of matchup.

Their scoring defense sucks (24th place). They might be on the wrong side of the tracks defensively after DVOA updates tomorrow as well.

That 30 by the Ravens specifically is misleading. Had a defensive and ST touchdown.

Could be. I just looked at the total defense stat. Looks as they are losing the turnover battles - 4 giveaways to 1 takeaway. That could explain their poor scoring defense to good ranking on total defense.

If we win the turnover battle, I think we win big. If we lose the turnover battle, we win by less than 7.

That said, I think we win big.

I just hope Watt doesn't come out of the tunnel doing that "THIS IS MY HOUSE" thing.

Terrible etiquette, quite disconcerting and not what you'd expect from a gracious host.

I think our shut down corners and our offensive weapons of run and pass are way superior. I expect a win and win convincingly. I have high expectations of the seahawks and I am going to be that way. Every game is a championship game, that's the teams mind set and so I am a firm believer, we will only get better when the season goes on.

This is going to be a tough game. Houston I believe is a tad over-rated, but it depends on our offense which I still do not believe is clicking on all cylinders. If our offense has a few turnovers, Houston wins. If they play smart and limit the turnovers, Seattle will pull it out due to their awesome defense. The weakest link in this team is the oline, so let's hpe they bring it the next 2 weeks.

This is going to.be a much closer game. We'll see few if any 5-7 step.drops from Wilson due to Okung being out and McQ gong up against Watt.

We'll be looking at a lot of roll outs, and 3 step drops, running and a heaping helping of defense.

Good thing Andre Johnson and Foster are dinged up.

I think Watt comes primarily (exclusively?) from the right side, so it will be up to Giacomini or (gulp) Sweezy to keep him off RW. This dude is a beast:

The Seahawks have never started a season 4 and 0. This is a great opportunity to change that,

Good teams seldom lose 2 in a row. Houston will be pissed and motivated come Sunday. A good challenge for our boys

Speaking of spreads, the Seahawks and Broncos are favorites to win the Super Bowl at 7/2.
