Would you speculate on who you want the team to draft tomorrow?

Forrest Lamp, Dalvin Cook, Kevin King, Tyus Bowser, Budda Baker.

if Dalvin lasts to 34, trade down again due to inflated trade value possibly. :)

At this point I would be good with any of those picks. You still puking over Obi, if picked?

Taking the perceived "best player" at a position of need regardless of value or your grade on him, because of peer pressure as brim alluded to, is awful draft logic. Yes.

What peer pressure? Yes, he was a perceived best player at that position, but its not just from me. When other draft analysts and NFL people have that same perception, there might be something to it. In your opinion, its better to grab the more attractive, luxury picks than to actually fix the areas of need. I'm not gutted by the trade downs because theres still people on the board, but if we miss out on Robinson or Lamp, somebody needs to smack JS upside the head. Preferably Wilson.

I bet we at least get 2/4 of those players and I bet Lamp is our fist pick.

I'm hoping they trade #34 to the Browns for #52+#65.

Sucks they didn't get Watt, Charlton or Foster though.

That's not my opinion.

I believe in maneuvering around the board to gain value whenever possible. John did that fantastically. We can fix our areas of need (believe it or not, not just OL) by gaining additional picks. We're in a better position to get more talent onto the team than we were coming into tonight.

There's an opportunity to load the team up here. Seattle dominates the next 2 rounds.

I think GB is taking Cook at 33, and the Hawks are taking Lamp, Baker or King, unless they trade down again.
Just my uneducated, non-fantasy football, non-madden playing opinion. 8)

GB is taking Lamp to replace Lang we had our choice of Ram or Lamp and instead let the niners take foster and lost a fifth cheap year for a 4th rounder that frankly we have sucked in recently. The falcons trade was fine but moving completely out of the first and strengthening a team in division is not.

I'll definitely puke, but I'm not the type to dwell. I'll be very hopeful and excited to see what he can bring. We know he's athletic.

The Seahawks' best days are slowly fading. We are no longer feared, our scheme has been analyzed and we're no longer fooling anyone. And we aren't winning one on one anymore either defensively. We give shitty WRs money (Kearse) and start them over better talent (ie: my local garbageman).

Tampa Bay is what we used to be.
Oakland is the new baby NE

To be honest this trade is great for both teams. The 49ers get a steal of a talent, one that Seattle wouldn't need because of Wagner. Seattle gets a extra pick in a pretty deep draft.

We have four starters on our oline that wouldn't start on any other team in the NFL so we should have taken the best OT when we had the chance. If there is one thing this staff has proved it's that it can't evaluate offensive linemen so when the whole NFL world is screaming the Hawks need to draft The Ramz kid Freakin go with it!

This x's 1,000,000

Really awful draft logic 101.

Its terrible draft logic to pick the best player available to improve the teams biggest weakness? Do tell.
Really don't think any of the linemen available at the time were the best player available.

I'm sure Gronk's lungs and back would disagree with you.

This says a couple things, they are not worried as much about the O line, second we have seen CB's and Safeties drop that would fill our depth concerns and should have some choices where we will pick tomorrow. I also expect another trade down maybe with our now top second rounder a few spots.

Or maybe use some of those extra picks to jump up and grab King and Baker?

At the moment, I'm extremely pissed that we traded with the 49ers so they could draft Rueben Foster. You dummy Schneider. Stop trading back. We just end up cutting picks or they're scrubs anyway. Please. Just draft a few good players.

It's almost like you think good players don't exist in the next 2 rounds... which we have 6 picks in..

Well yeah. That's kind of how the draft works (with exceptions), the best talent usually goes towards the top of the draft.

Feel free to study our drafts the past few years.

Keep in mind that the Hawks needs are different than other teams, and some of the guys that a lot of you guys have been calling for have made their way down to where JS looked at the other teams needs and what was left sitting there and decided to take a small gamble to move down. Getting all of these extra picks means that we are probably going to use some of them to trade up to grab what we want.

I want Kevin King, I'm not sold on any of the O-Lineman in this draft, the best 2 were already taken

Exactly, this years O-Line class is incredibly weak
