I have a lot of respect for Denver. Even though they went to the SB they fired their head coach. After the Seahawks ran over the Broncos, Elway recognized the team would not get over the hump with the leadership/strategy they had at the time.
Seattle is looking at a very similar path. They went to the SB...they lost. Bad coaching was the problem and it cost them a lombardi. Heads should have rolled then...heads should roll now.
Think about this. With a hobbled RW that couldn't save Bevell's bacon by improvising, the team scored 3 points. Seriously, think about that.
Now think about the fact that Denver is the defending champs and Seattle didn't even make it to the NFCCG last year. What does this tell you? What trajectory are we on versus Denver's trajectory?
