i disagree, many Guards have been found going back, look at Larry Allen (1994-2007) 2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee... Selected by Cowboys in 2nd round, Jahri Evans, a fourth-round draft pick out of Bloomsburg University in 2006, became one of the most dominant and consistent guards of his era during his 12-year career with the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers, Quenton Nelson, the sixth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of the University of Notre Dame, Marshal Yanda, a third-round draft pick out of the University of Iowa in 2007,Will Shields, a third-round draft pick out of the University of Nebraska as a example, this hang up about no talent unless a top twenty pick is such a fallacy.Sadly another third round guard in the mix means at best you have a borderline starter level or worse case scenario backup level player moonlighting as a starter.
Look…we’re ’building’ with young talent. O-linemen need more time to develop…more so than any other position group.I doubt JS has really changed his views on the oline. He said pretty much the same things last off-season as the things he's saying this time around and he signed Laken Tomlinson and drafted a guard in the 3rd round. So when he is addressing it, his idea and some fans idea of addressing it is pretty far apart.
True. But there’s also nothing wrong with bitching about the bitching that is about bitching about the original bitching.Nothing wrong with bitching. Also, nothing wrong with bitching about bitching.

I would have been fine with him as well as long as JS didn't get too stupid with the contract.#76 left Guard from Chicago Bears looks mighty good to me for a pickup.
It's not just the contract that's the issue.I was thinking about that Will Fries contract. Is it really that outrageous of a contract when it makes him the 33 highest paid OLman at a time when the CAP is going up and salaries are skyrocketing? Just a thought.
Then why did he refuse to come have a physical here? F this guy. If you don't wanna' come play in Seattle, piss off.Wait, his injury was a just a tibia fracture? He's 26, were we seriously worried that wouldn't heal properly? The whole pushing for a physical thing is starting to sound like an excuse designed to draw attention away from the OL problem. Sounds like the contract has an out for the Vikings in a few years anyway.
He's a "veteran mentor". I don't know that he's going to have that kind of responsibility.I hear lots of people saying the OL doesn't have any vets to help OL, I disagree. Seahawks hired Jason Peters as an OL advisor and I'm really curious how this is working out when it comes to evaluating potential OL for the Seahawks.
