The Seahawks are one of the most physical teams in the NFL and IMO to have a physical team you need guys to play with some dog in them. Former Seahawks head coach Jim Mora Jr. referred to these types of players as “dirtbags”. Ravens (LB) Ray Lewis pre-game thing is getting his teammates to surround him and he yells “ANY DOGS IN THE HOUSE”, well we have plenty of dogs on our team.
All Dog Team: When I say “All Dog Team” it’s a good thing. Most of the Seahawks players have that pit-bull mentality in them, but the players that listed here are my top dogs.
#1 (CB) Brandon Browner: Browner is just a straight up bully! He does not talk trash like Sherman, nope, he just hits dudes in the mouth. Browner is rag-dolling WR’s out there, he snatches his guy up throws him this way, that way, and then BAM slams him to the ground! A lot of WR’s have tried to stand their ground by not backing down or talking trash before the game, but in the end Browner puts them in their place.
#2 (SS) Kam Chancellor: BAM!!! Kam just knocked another guy out. He is the reason why you see opposing WR’s & TE’s having a bad case of the “alligator arms” when attempting to catch the ball when going over the middle of the field. When you see a 6-4 230 lbs. human missile sprinting at you with bad intentions that will put fear in any receiver, he got the 49ers big, bad (TE) Vernon Davis to tap-out. When we play the Falcons, let’s count how many times you see receivers’ “alligator arm” balls when going over the middle.
#3 (RT) Breno Giacomini: Breno is a big strong guy who plays to the echo of the whistle. He gets under the skin of opposing players because he imposes his will on opposing players when we run the ball. No trash talking needed, he just plays as hard as he can until the ref blows the whistle (and maybe an extra second or two after the whistle).
#4 (RB) Marshawn Lynch: Beast Mode! Enough said.
#5 (CB) Richard Sherman: Sherman is always talking, getting in the head of opposing WR’s. He has to be one of the most hated players in the league not just because he talks sooo much trash, but because he can back it up. He frustrates opposing WR by pressing them, knocking them off their route. Then, he can still run with them down field staying on their hip. Finally, if the QB is brave enough to throw Sherman’s way, Sherman uses his ridiculously long arms to swat the ball away. Oh yeah, when the play is over Sherman will get in the ear of his WR telling him “You Mad Bro”.
#6 (DE) Red Bryant: Big Red is country strong and few o-linemen can match his strength. I have never seen an offensive lineman get chippy with him after a play, they know he is a man not to be messed with. On the field Big Red is always fired up and he is the unquestioned leader of our #1 ranked defense.
#7 (DT) Brandon Mebane: Bane is a guy that goes about his business like “I’m going to out physical you” and move on to the next play.
