Question:

Does this board make money as a result of the volume of people coming to the site and responding?

If so, I think I should get a commission.

Late to the party as usual. I don't know exactly what the poster wanted to gain from showing "quality stats" against NFC West teams, but good for Bradford I guess. What it comes down to is that everyone in here and most football fans from either fan base would choose Wilson over Bradford. Wilson came into the league his first year and took his team to the playoffs. Bradford came into the league and took his team to Buffalo Wild Wings. Stats are nice but as one of the other posters stated, "It really comes down to wins."

Who gives two craps about Bradford, why do you continue to post threads like this as if you think we give a hoot? We'll catch you in a couple weeks, then feel free to come over and spew all the Bradford fairytales your heart can muster, we'll be more than happy to shoot those ddown in flames as well. i don't think Bradfords as bad as some make him out to be around here, but then again i put him in the Palmer catagory, just could care less one way or the other.

It isn't even against NFC West teams bro. He is just trying to cherry pick stats that Trash Bagford looks good with. Plain and simple.

No, its not like that at all.

But go ahead and keep repeating it. I'm sure many of the kiddies around here will believe you.

@Atlanta. Down 24-3 at half. Lost 31-24 by accumulating 14 points in the 4th quarter. (2 TDs)

Dallas: Lost 31 - 7 Scored their only TD when down 24-0 (1 TD)

SF: Lost 35 - 11. Garbage time TD for Bradford.

So, of his 13 TDs, 4 came in garbage time losses.

Another came when the Rams had to run up the score (sort of) against the Jaguars. Knock another one off the list.

So, in other words, since only 8 of his TDs really affected the outcome, the Rams are trying to prop up Bradford's numbers to make him look better than he is. Congrats!

He is also well above average at garbage time accumulation of stats.

No, he's not.

His best four games were a game won in the last minute on a FG (no garbage time), two games that were within 7 points in the 4th Quarter (no garbage time), and a game (two days ago) in which he didn't throw a single pass (didn't need to) in the last 20:20 of game time (didn't accumulate ANY stats during garbage time).

His worst stats came in the two games in which there was significant "garbage time."

But, hey... don't let the facts get in the way of your argument.

Those games were against the Jaguars (wow) and the Cardinals. The other games, the Rams either got blown out of the building or lost to a 1-4 team.

Man, it's almost like Bradford only plays well half the time and the rest he accumulates garbage stats.

No, its not like that at all.

But go ahead and keep repeating it. I'm sure many of the kiddies around here will believe you.

The Rams have been pretty down for a long time and so I say this not really caring about the franchise one way or another but I have questions about Bradford. His numbers have been pretty pedestrian so far. I would agree that his numbers haven't been terrible given the talent that has been placed around him But taking his skill set out of the discussion, I don't see a leader. His body language is mild and I don't see him talking up his team or his receivers on the sideline. I think that those are the hallmarks of franchise quarterbacks. I look at him vs Brady and while Brady doesn't have the passing yards, he still has more yards per completion than Bradford (6.17 to 6.19) without half the talent. That tells me that Bradford is still shy about pulling the trigger even though he has Austin and Cook and Bradford throws one of the prettiest long balls in the league. He had better show more leadership or I agree with most posters here that his days are numbered..

I like how there is a big old "advertise your site here!" thing on Clan Ram. Some Seattle based company should take up an ad there with prominent Seahawks images.

Yeah, that thread that I posted last week on ClanRam titled "The Curious Case of Sam Bradford" has only 3,781 views and 194 responses.

Best QBs in NFL:-

P Manning
Rivers
A Smith
Flacco
Dalton
Quagmire in Pitts
Schaub
Luck
Brady
Tannehill
Squidward
Wilson
Brees
Ryan
Newton
Rogers
Cutler
Stafford
Romo
RG3
E Manning

21? I'd rather have Bradford than Schaub, Dalton, maybe even Tannehill right now (but not for the future).

Avenger, realistically who is Bradford better than right now? He is no better than 17th in the NFL. He brings whole neq meaning to the term "average".

Man, some of you guys are brutal lol. Granted, whether Avenger realizes it or not, he has been Cpt. Passive Aggressive around these parts this season (mostly offseason) and some may not be willing to hear his points without having a voice in their head yelling "screw this guy!" Some have definitely been to harsh and just dismissing the information presented.

He makes some great points, though. Bradford's stats would suggest he has been an above average QB this year - beyond ranking 36th in the NFL for yards/attempt. But, how important is that stat, really? Well, Tom Brady and Alex Smith will tell you it's not important. Brady, Smith and Bradford are all tied at 36th right now.

Avenger, you're going to have a hard time convincing fans (as in ANY fans because even a good number of Rams fans, let alone fans of the 31 other teams, still think he's a bust) that he's not a bust until there is real evidence, through an entire season, that he can post decent numbers and actually give his team a chance to win every week. So far he has decent stats through six games, not 16, and that Rams schedule isn't going to get any easier through out the season.

With all that said, if he continues at this pace and actually gets some W's, I will have no problem admitting he is average or above average. We have to keep in mind that this is Bradford's best year by far in terms of Rating, TD's and INT's. Is this an outlier year? Only time will tell.

Serious question for you, Mr. Ram Fan.
If you knew four years ago that Bradford's career stats would look like they do now, would you say he was a bust for a number one overall pick?

That's gotta be a tough one.

I disagree with you.

This issue was covered in great detail at ClanRam, so if you'd like to my (and other Rams' fans) view of who we would and would not trade Bradford for (if $ was not a factor), I can give you the links.

He wasn't given much to work with brass wise or talent wise..

Ok cool let me get that info. I will let him know AvengerRam told me it was alright to purchase the right to display Seahawks images on his site and point to this post as evidence.
