There are seriously people who hate Ohtani? I don't root for his team, but you can't not respect that guy.

Yeah, the Rams are overhyped, but the networks aren't in the business of losing money, so apparently them being on is considered a draw. Hopefully we get to the end of the season and they're doing so badly that everyone is complaining about having to watch them.
I think the league truly tries to get the best teams (plus some popular ones like the Cowboys) on prime time. But it doesn't always pan out. Like in 2023, Aaron Rodgers' first year with the Jets, they scheduled the Jets for 6 prime time games, but Rodgers tore his Achilles in the first game.

Cardinals, Jets, Raiders, Dolphins and Titans all got no prime time games this year, so they definitely exclude the worst teams from prime time.

Not really a fan of prime time games. 1 Sunday night game and 1 Monday night game is fine, but 7 prime time games kinda sucks, imo. Sunday morning/afternoon is my preference, and it's my preference by a lot. If I could choose 0 prime time games, I would, and it'd be a really easy choice for me.

Generally agree. I grew up on Sunday afternoon football back east, and now living on the west coast, I've come to like drinking coffee and watching kickoffs at 10 am. Night games once in a while but Thursday night games are invariably harder on the Seahawks bc of the distance they typically need to travel. I know the NFL tries to schedule more divisional games on TNF and that's fine for teams like Chicago and Pittsburgh. The games on TNF are usually not great, in part bc the teams have only 3 days rest and not as much time to prepare.
