In the linked to article in this thread is says they fired him for confronting a whistle blower, which violated their retaliation law/rule.

I personally think something is wrong with the petition site, but my uncle insists it's fine. Surely someone from .net would have signed the petition by now, but so far there are no new signings other than the one I just quoted. Can't figure out what's up. I only keep making references to Russell Wilson to make sure this thread stays in the main forum, where it belongs. Because I truly believe this caught his eye, and again. My subjective opinion -- after the Sandusky trial, they went the other extreme and became ultra enforcing to a sarcastic degree, and this new ethics committee simply needed a target in order to seem like they're doing something. They breached protocol in my uncle's firing in so many ways, and it is because their reason for firing him was complete hocum. The accused drug possessor was found without any trace of anything illegal, and my uncle had a crystal clean history with regards to doing anything wrong by the University.

I believe Russell Wilson takes part in more than one altrustic cause and got wind of it through connections. Does anyone know of anything else RW does besides visit cancer children?

Anyway, back to my original point. I would like to know if any .netters signed the petition, just to see if there's a problem with the site, because it is not showing any new signings (except one person in FL) as of today.

Sorry, im not trying to be rude about it. But I just dont sign anything until I have all the facts. The petition is obviously from the viewpoint of the defendant, which is fine, but I just dont know the situation because none of it makes sense to me.

And yes, this includes online petitions. I just dont want my name on something without knowing everything. But good luck in your quest.
