Russ wasn't even that bad...

People in here acting like he threw 3 picks and is the worst qb in the game... he threw one pick which was off a drop. He wasn't good but he really wasn't that bad. The injuries on the line killed us. Yes he shouldn't have waited so long in the locket and he missed swain wide open once but come on this isn't all on him tonight. I thought the play calling was pretty headscratching myself

Did you watch the replays and see how many open guys he missed on short throws? Russ always looks downfield..the big throws..he needs to take what’s given to him. He held onto the ball instead of running or getting rid of it..I genuinely though it’s the worst he’s played in a long long time. I’d love to be proven wrong though as I’m a fan of the guy for sure but I thought he was off all night.

Look at some of his completions..threw it so high and the receivers/TE’s had to reach up and grab on basic throws/catches..something wasn’t quite there tonight.

He was pretty bad.

So was the play calling.

And the O line.

He needs to throw the ball away, he just isn't as quick as he used to be. He took some sack that just put us in position we have zero chance to succeed. He was bad today but it was definitely a collective effort.

Why the hell are we allergic to quick passes?! Maybe the 17th deep drop with bad OL will work this time!

I just think the Giants D surprised everyone... they were well coached and effective...

the Giants did in the 3rd quarter what I wanted the Hawks to do run the Ball..

just got to give the giants credit...they played well and the Hawks didn't have an answer...

ok on to next week

Love Russ but a lot of this game was on him like most of you why can't they adjust throw quick short passes it doesn't matter if you get a touchdown in 8 plays or 20 plays move the chains. I still believe he needs a great QB coach to teach him how to read defenses take what the defense is willing to give you.

Question how many yards did he cost the team today? I wonder if there's a stat for that?.

Brighter note the D is really improving Adams has to be the best in the league while everybody is hesitating he comes flying in to make the Tackle I sure hope we don't let him go this off season.

He was missing open receivers. He was staring down receivers. He was taking sacks instead of throwing the ball away. He was over throwing and under throwing receivers. He turned the ball over by trying to play hero ball instead of just falling on top of it.

He was horrible today.

Russ was rattled, again. Shotty didn't help him out. Someone needs to kick him in the arse, and quick. This season is folding like a bad taco. 10-6 is a real possibility.

No kidding. I'm not putting the blame solely on him today. I have never been on Russ this season once, but to say he wasn't that bad today is delusional.

This was definitely his worst game of the season. The other games where he had multiple picks, he had some great completions (which were totally absent today), and at least he was going for it, in those games. Today, he just wanted to hold on to the ball until someone was open for a bomb that wasn't there.

I was thinking that all day. 3rd and shorts, 4th and 1, I didn't see any quick-tempo passes or amy slants. As a matter of fact, were there ANY slants at all today? Weird considering how deep the Giants DB's were playing today.

He was that bad. He’s the guy paid not to lose to chumps like the Giants. If Russ makes two or three better decisions in this game, we win.

Well, if they did then it is because the Hawks did zero preparation. anyone who takes the time to watch some of the Giants' previous games would know what to expect. This was nothing unusual and, frankly, I wasn't even that impressed with what the Giants Defense did this week. Despite the Seahawks offensive approach, which was (for the second week) a head scratcher, we had open people. Russ had time (for the most part) to throw. We broke off some good runs.

It just seemed like a combination of a poor approach/playcalling, dropped passes, bad throws and some really bad decision-making by Russ.

Russell Wilson was absolutely awful. He looked like Mich Trubisky out there. He could have easily had more than one INT, and he missed some really easy completions. When he did decide to check the ball down he was really off target. His decision making was horrid, I was having some Tarvaris Jackson flashbacks. Even on his completions the balls were placed badly.

This isn't just an aberration either, Russell Wilson has played like this for weeks. Something is not right with Russell Wilson. His decision making is off, and when pressure is on him he's folding like a lawn chair. This isn't the Russell Wilson that we know.
