Was going to say that'll be quite the fun battle between Wilson and Winston, but seeing that Russ signed for $21m for one year ($10.5m), while Jameis is getting $8m for 2 years, I think it's pretty obvious what the plan is.

Was reportedly seeking between $20-30 million. Mark Rodgers, DO YOUR JOB, A$$WIPE! Russ has got a family to feed!
Desperation, the fear of being left behind, not being signed. I have to wonder what the guaranteed money is, all $10.5mil or less? In the NFL, contract money is more than just money; it's part of respect.

Geno Smith turned down $40-45 mil a year long-term contract. Russell Wilson? After an off season of pimping himself to multiple teams, finally signed a $10.5 one year deal.

Carroll, Payton, and Tomlin are exchanging "LOL" emojis.

Imagine someone telling you prior to his first "I'm tired of getting hit" video the Russ would be on his 4th team by 2025

He settled to remain in the league and not be the last Midget standing, options were closing fast and rumors of Steelers looking at Cousins with Erin playing games probably turned his table around, 21.5 versus nothing or on the Bench in Minny.

Finally in the big city he’s always wanted…

I’m sure he will be courtside at Knicks games before we can count to ten. I also wonder how many Super Bowls he will promise NY.

Does this mean the Giants are not taking a QB since they just signed two ?

When JWinston beats him out in camp (or a tackling sled hurts him), the Giants will only have to pay him 10 mil for not playing. Compared to the Broncos 50 mil, that's expert negotiating from Giants FO.

This might be the first time in history where a QBs backup signed for 50% more than the starter in the same off season.
