Pete did enough on his own to get fired. Just like Russ wanted out and got his wish. All while the Hawks absolutely fleeced the Broncos.
Worked out well. Good riddance if you don't wanna' play here. Just like with Geno, dueces.
How they play on another team has zero impact on the Hawks. When it meant better draft picks for the Hawks if the Broncos lost? That was fun.
Now? Who gives a flying fugg.......

I'm just ready for THIS HAWKS TEAM to kill it in 2025. And for the first time in a long time, I'm excited about an OC and what he can do with this offense. We have a MASSIVE home opener against the 39ers. THAT is what matters right now, well to me at least.

You're going to boo him? Pure gold. What does it accomplish? Certainly doesn't change the fact that he was the best QB this team has ever had, bar none.
Never mind, I already know the answer to that question. I'll gladly bow out of this tired conversation/subject. 🍺

I am not sure that is true. Most exciting, most assuredly, but the best? In my opinion, and keep in mind it is an opinion, Hasselbeck was the better QB. Keep in mind that he should have a SB, and he was more than a one read QB. Probably as close to a pure pocket passer QB the Hawks ever had.

YMMV

P.S. I would never boo either.

I would boo him but then I would ask for an autograph

My take on the actual topic is that Dart is the type of QB who is more prepared to have an immediate positive impact than some of the more mobile type QB’s who come into the league.

I think Daboll still starts Russ in week one obviously, but his intention is to work Dart in after the brutally difficult start of the schedule the Giants have.

As per ESPN’s Barnwell:

The Giants will play six of their first eight contests against 2024 playoff teams, including two versus the defending champion Eagles, a home game against the Chiefs and an away game versus the Broncos, who had the league's best defense by EPA per play last season. Starting Dart from Day 1 might feel like throwing a young quarterback to the wolves.

Wilson has his work cut out for him, especially considering the aggressive NY media who will be relentless. I just can’t think of a worse spot for him if he is trying to extend his career as a starter and continue to build a HOF resume.

I predict Dart a starter by week 8. However if Wilson can pull off some upsets early and win the favor of the NY media, than who knows?

The trouble with Me3 is he was so awesome in the beginning. Humble and played his ass off. He made up for all his "short"comings with those miracle plays. First contract, he would rip your heart out and eat it in front of your kids and he was as good as anybody. Then he was really good, but not so much in the playoffs. Then the horrible end rumors. Glad we fleeced the Broncos, but we did it a year too late.

This season, we shall either see the best of Wilson or see the end of Wilson's NFL career.

I think we will see a rather good Wilson, but a rather good Wilson may not be rewarded as the starter for the entire season. He may get off to a 3-3 in first 6 games, but would the fans asking for Dart at that point?
