Does anybody else here absolutely hate the rules that allow coaches on playoff teams the interview during the playoffs with other teams? Seems like a huge distraction to that coach (Kubiak) and likely the team. The rule states:
Per NFL rules, all initial interviews with candidates who are employed by teams that either missed the playoffs or received a first-round bye must be conducted virtually until after the divisional round. That does not apply to unemployed coaches.
What’s worse, even with what this says is that after the divisional round, they can actually go and visit them in person. It makes no sense to me.
Thoughts?
