All I keep hearing is how Sherman needs to close his mouth and be a good role model for others. If you are so blinded by the fact that a guy who grew up in Compton, went to Stanford, and made it to the NFL is not enough of a role model for your little ones or your adult self, then I am unaware on who would be. I love the way Sherman lays it down, he knows that 80% of football is mental. And if you can get in your opponents head you can gain an advantage. To all of you who need him to be something he is not after already achieving so much himself, I pose to you this gem. Make Russel Wilson or Earl Thomas this iconic persona you built up in your head. Earl has just as many accomplishments as Sherman and even more in fact. Let Sherman be Sherman so those fans of us who enjoy something new, something entertaining, something Seahawk can continue to be entertained by one of the premier players on our favorite team.
People always want the swagger and the tough defensive mentality, then they always complain when you see how you cultivate it. People I am sure hated Prime Time because of his antics. But would you trade that edge for a "Class" act player who didn't deliver?
I will take my Sanders, Shermans, Bradys, Sapps, Mosss, Lewis's
You can have your nice guys, I want the killers who know they are killers.
