Roddy White, who used to have a continuing feud with Richard Sherman, declared that Richard Sherman is one of the tough guy corners.

White stated "I know tough guys in this league. DBs that I felt were tough? Darrelle [Revis], Champ [Bailey], Al Harris, [Aqib] Talib, Richard Sherman."

Kind of shocked to see Roddy add Sherman to the list. Figured he still had issues with Sherm. They must have mellowed over the past few years.

I think it's consistency, Sherman has maintained his level of play, played thru injuries. You earn respect from guys even if you have conflicts when you do that.

Yeah, I'd imagine Sherm shutting him down in 2013 didn't hurt. Julio was injured and Sherm just put Roddy on lock-down if I remember correctly.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think he's just earned a lot of guys' respect.
