It seems some media members think we have trouble winning on the road(to which they may be right). Our first three road games this year were against decent teams. 2-1 so far is okay by me. Our last 5 I think we go 4-1. Put that with 8-0 at home. Looks good enough for the number one seed. And that will lead to two more home victories and a trip to NY in February for a Super Bowl victory

They had won 5 of 6 prior to Sunday. The road thing is getting better no doubt. If Bevell wasn't such an idiot as a playcaller, they win that game on Sunday, by STICKING TO THE RUN!
Man that was pathetic how they just abandoned something that was clearly working.

Hey just being over .500 on the road, with our home advantage, pretty much guarantees a playoff berth. Considering those were three of our tougher road games (at least for conditions like length of travel, 10am starts, tough teams) yeah, 2-1 ain't bad at all. There's a long shot chance our last 10am game gets flexed, and three of our final road games are divisional.

We came through the 1st quarter of the season in pretty good shape.

We need HFA. Badly.

I don't want any part of going into New Orleans in a playoff game and neither do you.

We also do not want San Francisco sneaking past us, and that is entirely possible because they are not only firing on all cylinders now (a lot more than we are actually) but they are getting pieces back and getting stronger too. I really hope that they do not get Josh Gordon, but the return of their WRs removes one of the big weaknesses we exploited against them already.

Here's a news flash: ALL teams play better at home than on the road. When it's opposite, it's usually an anomoly and it's addressed ad nauseum in the media. Like the Giants a couple years ago and the Dolphins maybe that same year. They actually had better road records than home records.

Our biggest thing is that we completely thunderstomp teams at home, then give up games to teams like Miami and Detroit on the road, that we have no business losing to. It's gotten better this year, and injuries have factored in, but it's still significant. And it will be talked about until we start crushing teams like we did the end of last year.
