Not very funny. Be careful of what you post. JMHO.If that play would have cost Seahawks the NFCCG, this could have been how he would be leaving Seattle....

I don't think that Woolen got the memo that the league was cracking down on taunting this season.I keep seeing that he's made the taunting mistake repeatedly. Speaking objectively, he's gotten three taunting penalties in his career, all of them this year. In 2025 he had 9 penalties. Jobe had 8 penalties in 2025 (none of them for taunting), for comparison's sake.
I would not mind seeing him back....but I think it is more likely another team overpays for him. I don't think Schneider will.
If you read the thread that was already discussed. With what draft capital
Woolen leaving is a great for Seattle in terms of salary cap. The guy is solid athletically but has mental lapses in key moments that come back to bite whatever team he is on. So, yes, he should by all means pursue a huge contract—just not with Seattle. Woolen, got his ring and throughout the course of his time in Seattle made some plays here and there and a team will pay Woolen, I’m just glad it will not be Seattle.
Seattle and Schneider can draft secondary players really well, especially, in the late rounds of the draft so I’m not concerned about depth.
I’m alright, go get paid, you got a ring, what’s left to do is be paid. Woolen, just won’t be paid by Seattle.
Our downfall was abandoning the trenches for Skill players over time. Paid/traded for Harvin, Graham and numerous safeties let Unger, Red Bryant, Giacomini and Okung eventually walk. I think we should always be building up both lines over anything else and hope the rest sorts itself out/go cheaper there where possible. After Pete took us to two straight appearances we became stagnant
Why
Everyone wanted to get paid
Stretched your resources to thin trying to keep our core players.
The same thing will happen again, if we play our cards right, we may be contenders for another year or two before it all catches up with us. Then we will be stagnant again, trying to keep it going,
Just the vicious cycle of the NFL
good legit question. If he stayed focused, then yes, I do think he is. Unfortunately, he doesn't stay focused, and opposing OCs know to watch for that, and take advantage of it. I expect some coach to believe that he can work with Riq, to keep him on track. If that turns out to be correct, and Woolen goes on a tear, that doesn't necessarily mean he would do the same if he stayed here. Not dissing, but is Woolen really top 10?? Maybe I'm underestimating him.
I mean, at one point mid season I saw where his PFF grade was 154/165 and he had the 3rd most penalties in the league.
We traded him for a bag of chips broDidn’t mm trade Mike Jackson for some linebacker we cut two days later
Yeah Michael Barrett
