Seems the fan base is divided on the Riq situation.

Kept
Released
Let go
Trade
Whatever

Do you want him on the team next season, or should he “kick rocks”?

Sherm used to talk smack on the field all the time so I’m not even that upset over that particular situation.

With Woolen I noticed early in the year that his effort appeared like he didn’t want to be here but suddenly I saw a complete turn around fr him. This tells me the coaches and/or players have worked on getting him mentally right. I think that if the coaching staff still believe he’s worth the effort than I’m ok with it. I would t have said that 4 months ago.

I don't know. He's a physical talent, and sometimes I think you just have to take the bad with the good with premium positions. But I think we're just going to get priced out here because some team will offer him big money given the position/potential.

Sherman was smart about it. He was the guy eliciting the reaction not the guy reacting.

Woolen wasn’t reacting to anything other than a HUGE stop. This ain’t like someone baited him into taking a swing or something. He was hyped and took it too far. I was far more upset that he let it get in his head on the next play.

I still love the talent but I also get that it's unlikely he'll be back. Someone is paying him a lot more than John would.

To me that’s fair. If we want him we make an offer and he either stays or goes. I think some on here wouldn’t even make him the offer.

And by offer that could include letting him field offers and deciding if they want to match. We’ve seen them use this in the past both to our advantage gave and detriment.

I wouldn't say thats a good thing. He can't just make a play. He has to go showboating always. Even if he had little to do with the incomplete pass often times.
What is it like 3 flags for taunting so far this year? Dudes an idiot.

But he was reacting without thinking. And I am sure Stafford had been working him all game trying to get to that. The same way defenders work DK.

Woolen will be an unrestricted free agent who won't be tagged. What happens next isn't in the Seahawks hands, unless they want to outbid the market. He's not someone i'd outbid the market for and I don't see him offering the Seahawks a big home town discount.

I trust the coaching staff on this one as they see WAY more than we do in regards to his attitude and abilities. On the field he makes me nervous but MM has consistently defended him so I'm not sure what to think. If it was that bad I think he'd have been dumped already based on what we've seen this staff and JS do with other players the past 2 seasons.

I think you’re overthinking the situation. He screwed up and most have moved on.

Then he started handing out late hits out of bounds in front of the opposing bench (Sept. 2017), and a lot of people on here started saying the same thing people are saying about Riq now.

Kam Chancellor was a silent assassin; he didn't need emotional outbursts to validate his swag. It is what made him so cool.

I want players that have their head in the game, all of the time. I want to move on from Woolen for all the same reasons that Seattle is a better team without DK Metcalf. In other words, we won't even miss him. I give bonus points to Nick Emanworri for feeling invested enough to hold his teammate accountable. More Emanworri types and less Woolen types please.
