Woolen wasn’t reacting to anything other than a HUGE stop. This ain’t like someone baited him into taking a swing or something. He was hyped and took it too far. I was far more upset that he let it get in his head on the next play.

That TD was very defendable, especially for a guy with his skills and physical ability.

Again, “a liability” is MHO

He is weak minded and set off easliy acts without thinking, those guys can have a place, unfortunatly a CB you are noticable and out on the edge.

Taunting ≠ Late Hits

If you go back to that game vs the Titans that I linked above, it was all of it. In game penalties, taunting, getting in the refs face, fighting with teammates, and fighting the other team. I think that was the final straw for the front office honestly, they moved on from him that offseason.

This is where I was early in the season but he made a lot of progress. He took a step backwards but I’ll trust the team to know where his head is at after the season.

I voted "Depends on SB", but would have voted for "I trust JS/MM Decision on Woolen" as I do not have enough info to make an informed decision.

That was just a reply to the comment about Sherman and late hits.

Come on man!

That’s not the question.

Should he kick rocks, or do you want him back next season?

I agree it might be a moot point, but what do you want?
It's a baited question that only gives 3 possibilities when there are more.

I still love the talent but I also get that it's unlikely he'll be back. Someone is paying him a lot more than John would.
I voted kick rocks - but the above is pretty much identical to my reasoning. If he was cheap - which he will not be - maybe keep him around.

As far as I'm concerned, he's now playing for a new contract for next season with another team.

So I fully expect him to play his absolute best that he can in this one.

He'll get his ring and then he can just go f*ck right off.

Kam Chancellor was a silent assassin; he didn't need emotional outbursts to validate his swag. It is what made him so cool.
Yeah, he decided to screw the team by sitting out whole games rather than talking at the opposing sideline once.

Look, I gave the fence riders an “out”, depends on SB performance.

Anybody that can’t find themselves answering yes or no can simply choose that, and elaborate with their comments.

Fact is, I’d rather everyone just have yes or no to choose from.

This thing about folks needing a way to quantify their decision with this or that is really kind of silly.

Do you like ice cream, yes or no.
Not “yes as long as it’s cold enough”.
I get it, there are variables that sway us sometimes but there is no reason to over think this.

You want Woolen back or not?
Man up, take a stance.

Generally speaking, not specific to you.

I don't fault any player for securing their payday. I think the overwhelming majority of players feel the same way. I would bet they feel differently about selfish penalties in game.

They are both personal fouls penalized for the exact same amount of yardage. That's not apples to oranges LOL.

Hitting someone late is in no way the same as being hyped and taunting after a play. Sherman may have done both but that doesn’t make them the same no matter how much you want them to be the same

Microcosm of our entire society Bro.

Some just don’t get it, and will go miles out of the way.
