Since the NFL is all about $$$, think of the millions of dollars he would have cost local bars, grocery stores etc for all the SB parties in the area. Not to mention the bonuses his teamates get.

Or all of the time and effort the whole SEA org put into making it happen. IF he is still around in two weeks, that will be it.

I am thinking that the peer pressure from teammates will either tamp down his proclivities to run his mouth, or he will be gone. The ULTIMATE punishment is being shunned by your team.

I don't think Riq is serious about his apology. He sort of took responsibility then said "Sometimes you black out" That's a popular excuse among NFL players, and I don't by it. If you black out, you don't run your mouth, ignore the Ref, and keep running your mouth while you're walking along the sideline.

Dave Wyman said he had black outs a couple of times, but it was while he was playing, and he had his best game statistically after a concussion, but couldn't remember it.

I don't know what Woolen means by "blackout." It could mean that he was in such a hyped-up mental state that he lost his perspective, didn't realize that he's in a football game and not a street fight. Even if that's what he meant, I still don't buy that as an excuse.

Only time will tell if he's serious or not.

He is our best corner that is capable of covering more physical recievers.

He is also an idiot that is incapable of prolonged focus and very mistake prone. Not to mention he can't control his mouth.

I'll be glad when someone else pays up for him this offseason.
