question: was Abe's knee condition known by NFL clubs prior to the draft? I seem to remember people saying Seattle got a steal. And the way he played that rookie year, it seemed like we did. But now I'm wondering if that's why he dropped in the draft a little bit.

Abe was taken around where he was expected to go. He was 66th on the consensus big board.

He was usually mocked higher by Seattle writers and analysts because we had a big need at tackle, was local, and fit our general profile for the position - so most Seattle fans consistently saw him going 41 overall in mocks.

If Abe had any existing red flags, they were kept private. Most reports had him fairly clean.

Even if Lucas and Fant comeback that still doesnt give us any reliable depth. we have seen whats waiting in the wings if those two arent healthy.
We need Bakhtiari so those can get fully healthy.

Whatever player is available right now has some kind of issue: health, attitude or talent. They're all gonna have risks of some kind or they'd be signed. All you can do is hope you pick one with a lesser.

The weak link in the offensive line appears to be at right guard. The conditioning of Bradford & Haynes may not be good enough to support an up tempo pace. The right & left tackles, left guard & center supported an up tempo pace as they play on 100% of the snaps last week. The right guards did not.
