If they keep Wilson, Sherman and Thomas, they're basically not going to be able to re-sign ANYBODY at ANY position for the next 5-7 years. Which is fine. You're not going to sign pass-rushers, DT's, LB's, RB's, WR's, etc. You're going to have to keep filling those through the draft, over and over and over again. Which again, is fine, it just puts a lot of pressure. Keeping Richard Sherman, for example, means there are three Browner/Wagner/Unger types you're not going to be able to keep. I'm not necessarily against that, but you just need to be darn sure they are the right guys and you can win championships with them and a bunch of young guys around them.
