I tried to vote, but it doesn't work. Maybe the poll is done?

Revis Island seems to have drifted off to sea.

J.J. Watt has to be going off last year. Sure, he's a monster, but still.

I LOVE Sherman . . . but . . . if I was offered Watt for Sherman straight up? Gotta say I go with Watt.

Sherm all the way. He is a game changer. He is really smart in baiting qbs and physically talented to make the plays.

Yeah, dude is an absolute baller. How intimidating was he with blood covering his face last Sunday? Guy was getting serious pressure DIRECTLY up the middle in double teams. I realize it was on our patchwork line but he does it on a consistent basis. He's the type of guy you give whatever he wants if he ever decides to leave Houston (unlike Mario Williams who only could sometimes get after the QB).

Overall though Sherm definitely deserves some love with his pro bowl snub last year. I have no problem with either of them winning it this season. He's playing at a crazy level so far.

If you guys are saying J.J. then he must be close to deserving it. A lot of fans wouldn't give an aooponent any credit.

Don't make that trade, my friend. Watt is broken. Ruined.

He's toast.

Who's individual playmaking won the game last sunday, Sherm's or Watt's?
That's what I thought.

That's deep. Why didn't I think of that? Who has more interceptions? Sherman! On second thought it's not even close

No way. Sherman is lockdown WITHOUT a pass rush.

So, you would just give him the award every month because he's generally a "monster"? His team is 2-2. Watt gets a lot of credit because D-line play is all over the TV screen, but Sherm had arguably the most dominant single-game performance of the month by a defender vs SF. His defense swung the HOU game. He deserves the award this month without question

Well that all depends on what type of D you want. If you have an exceptional defensive line, you can get away with having a weaker defensive backfield, see SF. If you have a mediocre D line, you need a lock down corner, See Jets with Revis.

Fortunately SEA has both, so if you asked me right now who'd i'd rather have, Sherman no question. We got the best of both worlds right now, and the D line is finally at full strength.

I find it difficult to compare the two because of the differences in position. The comparison between Sherman and Revis is easier to make. The blood all over Watt's face was intimidating but at the same time all I could think of is I would be going cross eyed because of the huge bandage.

I agree with that 100%...completely different players at completely different positions but both are completely dominant.
