While I agree that they aren't the better than the Hawks, Rams, or Niners, they did go 5-0 vs the NFC this year. They would have 13 wins in either the NFC South or East.

Also, against opponents with a winning record (over .500), Denver and the Niners went 3-2, and Seahawks and Rams went 4-2 and 4-3 respectively.

Those numbers will change this weekend as all teams have several wins and losses against .500 teams.
They didnt face the top of the NFC, which would be all three teams from the NFCW. If we didnt have to face the NFCW hell we might be 16 and 1 right now.

I think Denver is a good football team, but the best in the NFL? Na, sorry ain't buying it.

Neither did Dallas.

Philly, NY, and Washington only played one top NFC West team each.

The NFC South teams did play all three of the best NFC West teams, but it's not unreasonable to think that Denver, if they were in the NFC South, could have won 1/3 of those games and garnered 13-14 wins against the NFC South, and the AFC East opponents that the NFC South drew this year.

Put them in the NFC South or East this year, and I think they get 13 wins easy. Not in the North or West, though.

My point is, we faced the NFC West, niners Faces the NFCW, Rams faced the NFCW. Denver did not. All three of those teams are better than Denver. Yet Eisen has them ranked above all three.

Denver might not even get the AFC #1 seed...they have to play the Chargers this week and have already lost to them. If they lose to the Chargers and Patriots win against Dolphins, Patriots are #1seed.

Maybe it's because Seattle has a QB that has choked in the big games, and a defense that is unproven in the playoffs.

It's about to get real now.
It may just be recency bias, but it appears that the Rams are the team choking in the fourth quarter and beyond, when it counts.
Seattle, and their QB just continue to rack up the clutch wins.

But we'll see this weekend, and through the playoffs. That's why they play the games.

It's just one guy. The rest of the national media seems to love the Seahawks right now. And so many Seahawks are part of the media now--Richard Sherman, Nate Burleson, Marshawn Lynch, Robert Turbin. Probably tied with the Patriots for most ex-players on TV. Hard to say there's a bias against the Seahawks when Richard Sherman is going crazy celebrating after a Seahawks' win.

Everyone sleeping on Seattle, I love it.
FWIW, I’m seeing the opposite. Taking heads appear to be picking the hawks at a ~4-1 rate in what I’ve seen. Reasoning is the 9ers lack of a pass rush will give Darnold the time to play w/o pressure and our D will get pressure on Purdy, who has similar issues to Sam.

Honestly, I prefer flying under the radar…but it’s just not possible when you playing for the #1 seed in the final week.

The data favors the hawks this week.

I’m seeing a 50/50 split. If Shaheed and Jones/ Cross can go that makes me even more confident

Then explain why he was sporting a niner hat on his podcast saying how he trust Purdy over Darnold, and Seattle's defense better bring it. All the big network shows have seahawks behind Rams, some also have them behind Rams 9ers and Denver. MJD thinks even the patriots are above us. Which is fine with me, i love them ligjting a fire under our boys. Ala 2013 with Carter and Sanders talking crap about our mediocre recievers. 🤷

He does a good job of reporting on both teams, and wears the hat of whichever team he is currently reporting on. He celebrates the wins of both teams pretty equally.

And Purdy is more proven in the playoffs, so it’s not unreasonable to trust him a bit more.
