Not sure why bringing up other things I was right about makes sense, but I'm ok with that.
You were right about Murphy being a bust, and DK being a great player? Did you watch DK last night in the biggest moments? He sucked in our playoff games too.

It's all good. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

He doesn't suck. That wasn't my point. I just see people excusing him for things that others get judged harshly for.
In what would does Sam get excuses? WAY more people blast the guy, constantly.
He's probably middle of the pack in that list but come on man. Very few QBs in Seahawks history have had the sh** talking towards him than Sam.
14-3 and plenty act like he's Jamarcus Russell basically.

Would be amazing if some could just the dude a damn chance. He hasn't even played in a playoff game yet for Seattle, and he somehow is some perennial playoff choker. He has ONE playoff game under his belt. He was bad, like the rest of his team was.

It's just easier to call him Bustron.

DK has the franchise record for receiving yards in a playoff game. He "sucked" in those games though.

I don't see anyone, and barely even the usual two guys anymore, defending Geno.
I'm not talking about now. Geezus man. During his time here, the Geno worshipers were relentless in their excuse making. And creating some Elite QB, which he never was.

Neither is Sam. But Sam is better than Geno ever was.

On this board? You've gotta be joking. There are only a few people here who do that.

Outside of here, yeah.

Again, I'm talking about WHEN...HE....WAS.....OUR.....QB.
Give me a break. The Geno love was strong when he was here, by many.

Not even important, but it was pretty hilarious. Sam has been clutch in big games this year. Geno NEVER was. So glad that prick is gone.
Sam wins games even when he has turnovers. There's something to be said for shaking stuff off and leading your team to victory when it matters. He has done it in a lot of games the last 2 seasons.

Matthew Stafford is my pick for the best qb. Sure Josh Allen is a better run and can make all the throws but Matthew Stafford can’t even move yet still evades the rush and he throws dimes to the corner of the end zone while he is looking at his phone texting back to guys on .net who have him ranked behind Brock purdy

There is no way in hell that goofy dance Purdy is better than Stafford or Allen.
And Stroud? Better than Stafford and Allen? My god, that is a stretch even for you Rat.

He did nothing against Ramsey in that Rams playoff game. He dropped two passes last night in critical situations when Rodgers needed him the most. He whiffs on blocks while priding himself on being physical. He has a limited route tree and hands of stone. And this is just his on-field stuff..

It's fine to have differing, even controversial positions, but when the position doesn't budge in light of new data...

I was a huge DK fan, but.......while he started strong early last night, he was pretty bad overall. Two drops on damn good passes from Erin.

1 - Allen, though I get the argument from a pure passer standpoint he isn't
2 - The old guy, no the other old guy, Stafford
3 - Purdy (when paired with Shanahan)
4 - Darnold (good Darnold would be #3 bad Darnold would be 8)
5 - Maye
6 - Nix
7 - Williams
8 - Stroud

Purdy has a noodle arm, doesn't throw past 25 yards. So if a defense defends this part of the field, he's severely limited:

Thx for sharing. Good stuff. I think he's really good. Just overrated. And not just because plays for the 49ers. Give him time back there and he's really good. Pressure him, not so much. Not unlike a lot of QBs.
He doesn't make me super nervous as an opposing fan. Stafford flat out DOES.

Yeah I'm not saying he's trash, can be dangerous when he buys time.. But take him out of Shanny's system... limit his middle of the field throws and you limit him.

I feel like we're talking about different things.

Yeah, the Geno excuses were beyond ridiculous. Especially by like three posters on here who suddenly became film experts and knew what every lineman and receiver was supposed to be doing exactly at every moment. And it was ALWAYS someone else's fault. It was nauseating.

Darnold gets some loud criticism on here, but it's a small minority. I'll bet a lot of the posters who are claiming his reputation for struggling in big games is unwarranted, are the same who were calling him "exposed" and a "fraud" late last season.

Yeah, probably. I'm tired and grumpy this morning. That being said, Sam absolutely does make me nervous.

Go Hawks
