Well..... M's actually had a 2 run lead into the 6th at Safeco for once. Didn't last long. Thanks Thornton. Nothing better than babying the shit out of these starting pitchers after 95 pitches, only to bring in some scrub to choke the lead away immediately.

Masterbouni up 3-1 in the count with Rocker already hit a batter and walked a guy and overall can't locate. Swings and grounds into a DP. Did Dan and Edgar really give him the green light there?

On the other hand, helluva nice inning for the M's there in the 3rd putting up 4 runs, including an RBI triple from Julio.

Nice to see them getting some hits. Starting pitchers should be coming

Haven't seen the M's really whoop someone's ass at Safeco like this in forever.... Can't even remember a specific game. They're usually the ones getting thumped 9-1

That was the most hilarious "slide" attempt I can remember. It looked like he just ran out of gas and just kind of fell over.

My wife, who doesn't watch a lot of baseball these days, has been immensely entertained by the rotund Rowdy Tellez, especially in the last two games. Whether it's trying unsuccessfullly to stretch a double into a triple, or striking out looking on three borderline pitches, or misplaying the low throw in the ninth inning last night. She thinks that if he did a little cardio and lost 20 pounds that he would look better, improve his performance, and maybe have been safe at third.
