No thanks...He can keep his drama and mouth and huge salary expectations and drain another team of all their chemistry. Going after coaches is Sherman 2 and Percy.....they are gone for a reason.

All about ME....

Earl did all this crap, seems like it's working out fine for him in Baltimore. Same with Sherman in SF. Sometimes all it takes is a new paycheck and a change of scenery and players magically start behaving themselves again.

If I even HALF believed in Griffin and Flowers developing into good enough CB's to compete for SB's again, I'd be with you.

But I don't. Especially Flowers, he's awful. I've seen enough, trade for Ramsey.

Sure guys....Lets bust ass getting rid of all those bad team contracts so we can build an actual team again just to sign another over egoed, over priced loudmouth that wants to set records for being the highest priced DB in the NFL!!!!!

Super Idea!!!!

What happened to "Pete can make a DB out of scraps and win. It is his major strength".... :177692:

Nah, they can franchise him if it's not a good fit. And they would get quite a haul in return.
He would make this team better immediately. NOBODY fears our corners, let alone our lack of physical play. This guy is maybe the best corner in football.

Corners??

Teams are dinking and dunking us to death also. We have more problems than that!

Death by 1000 paper cuts is also an issue. Did Teddy 2 gloves beat us deep and pick us apart?

Your just upset because Flowers looks like a giraffe on ice skates (which he does btw)!!

Look around.....this team is not 1 player away.

Our "oline strength" is also killing us with penalties and missed assignments" for starters.

Yeah, Flowers has been a disappointment so far. Shoot, I expected him to get better and was worried more about Griffin. Seems the other way around, Griffin has been pretty solid.

There's no way they should trade a first round pick for Ramsey. Not this year Ramsey will not save this defense. Were to young bottom line is were just going to have to ride this season out then take a CB in the first round next year . Also we lost 1 game lets not freak out over 1 loss.

Now we drop the next 2 and then i'll worry I still wouldn't make that trade though the reason is were just not good enough to justify giving up that kind of draft capital. It will not substantially change what Seattle is this year. That's a wildcard team. If I thought it would result in winning the division that's another matter but I don't feel like this team is good enough to make that happen. To many problems with the O-line.

I have a higher opinion of the D than a lot of you.I dont think we are that far away. We get some DL back soon and I think a player like Ramsey would make a huge difference. He would be the most physical DB we have.I also like the idea of trading for Adams that was brought up.

I dont expect a D like we had with the LOB. That will never happen in my lifetime. We have a front seven that could be outstanding. One tone setter in the backfield could make all the difference.

Why not give a 1st rounder up? Look at the recent track record. I'll take the best corner in the game, a PROVEN player, not just a crap shoot draft player. And if he doesn't sign an extension, you franchise him and get someone to pony up a 1st for him, easily.

Except ........... that represents such a complete disconnect from what the program is all about. That is not representative of the well publish manner with which they treat people and players. How they treat people and why the Seahawks are such a unique culture has been a constant theme of press conferences and interviews. It was touched on yet again in Luke Willson's interview just yesterday.

Secondly .............. as Ken Norton spelled out once again yesterday, the Seahawks are a developmental organization. And that theme has also been repeated again and again in interview after interview for many years.

Fair enough. It's about winning now imo. This guy is the best in the game and it would immediately make our D a lot better.

I like the development strategy and hopefully we have the talent in the backfield that will develop, but this team has always filled holes on the team anyway possible. We probably wouldnt have won a SB without some of the trades and FAs we signed.

Because as of now Jacksonville is asking for two first rounders, not just one.

I think JS would have pulled a hamstring agreeing to just one first rounder for Ramsey........but considering no other team has stepped up and given them two first rounders, my guess is over the next two weeks before the trade deadline closes Jacksonville's going to have to come down on what they want.

So we'll see.

Absolutely no way on two of them. The longer this goes, the better for whatever team wants him.
If they are willing to do a 1st round (one) pick, make it happen.

I think his point holds up even with 2 1st rounders. The chance of drafting a player that is a multiple pro bowler in the area we usually draft is close to 10%. We would spend at least 5 to 6 mil a year combined over the life of their contracts. So Ramsey would cost us 10 to 13mil? Its still a lot but its doable
