@Chris: yep. That is my interpretation of it.

I watched a private practice where they moved in sync pretty good on D. I was fascinated with how they knew what to do.

It was not what we saw tonight.
Alice, you ever read Dune?

If so do you really think Fischer is running a smokescreen that deep? And if so I now understand what's up with my team. Damn...plans within plans yes?

I have seen the movie, but I have not read the book.

My sci-fi book reading is nil, but my sci-fi movie watching is good. Now I think I should rent it again.

As to our teams, I think they have many plans within plans within plans. Yours included.

And, yes I do on Fisher. His first year as our coach he almost spelled it out - I need to find those quotes.

I doubt we learn a lot about your game plan in San Diego next week.

btw, I looked up tickets: over $100 for the worst seats. A good seat is way more. For a pre-season game! Crazy. I was thinking of going before I saw the cost, then membered it's my local FF Draft Pool Party and we draft at 3pm, so can't go anyway. :) I will put the game up on the outside screens for all the Charger fans and then I can see you guys play.

Chargers looked good on D this week, very bad on O but Rivers didn't play. I expect him to play v you. Ringless probably knows better than me, but they seemed to sack Palmer a couple times or so.

Watch the Sci-fi Channel version it's pretty spot on to the books unlike the De Laurentis movie.:)

My guess is this is prolly the aftermath/fallout from the brawl several days ago. Fisher lost control of that team at least for one practice. We'll see if it lingers. [Cowboys and Rams brawl]

Fisher didn't lose any more control than Garrett. Actually, Dez was yelling so much prior to any, anything physical I would say Garrett lost control before Fisher did.

Dez is super annoying. I hope he punches Garrett or the OC during a game sometime this season during a game. Perhaps the next time he runs out onto the field to argue a call they'll flag him for it.

why is that funny? they played like they had taken sleeping pills or something.

Go Tanney. At least someone's cusp players are showing off.

And, some fun from Brown for a little TD pass from Mannion.

Sure hope game one this year v Hawks is nothing like our game one last year v Vikes. That was a horror.

Two very bad showings so far for Rams this preseason.

Still was fun to see them play.

I would never make such an assertion that they were deliberately not playing to potential. They're simply not ready and it is only the second preseason game.

I find Hekker puzzling or perhaps it was someone else shanking the punts? Zuerlein wasn't close on the FG either. ST coverage looks good.

D line looked slow. Tackling generally was mediocre.

Offense looked like crap. Watts ran good but it will be for the practice squad. Keenum looked good passing, play to Givens perfection. Davis and Mannion a toss up but they will stick with their draft pick.

When will they cut the cord with Pead?

Mariota looked good. Folks not much.

If Rams play as bad against the Seahawks in the opener as they did against the Vikings I will have a heaping plate of crow for dinner all week. :34853_doh:

We are going to have to disagree on point one. I fully believe they were not playing to potential. Watch the RBs. They ran one direction only, even if it made no sense.

D line looked like they were instructed to make Sankey look like an RB god. Tackling was worse than mediocre. That D line point blank just looked bad.

It's pre-season. Spags ruled it.

and, seeing how good Mariota is once again pisses me off we got Bradford for our #1 pick. Total sucks. Still need a QB a half decade later from that fiasco. Titans got one now.

I can't imagine the Rams offense making any defense look bad, including the Rams defense.
