Here we go, garbage time.

Hardly.

This is not a regular seasaon game. This is actually guys playing to get a spot on the team and guys we need to see play.

Finally Mannion is in.

Is that CBJ in at qb for Titans???
Yes. But it seems the Rams aren't dead yet. Seems Givens knows a spot may be open for him.

So does Watts, who is playing well. Both are on the cusp.
Watts did make a good play. It's disappointing the that the rest of team seems to be sleepwalking. You know I hate the Rams but no effort is worse. And they're representing the NFCW. I'm actually a little mad that between this and the Seahawk game I'm going to take crap for weeks.

Rams starters played like they were either instructed not to play or took some downers. Was embarrassing. They played more fiery in practice against themselves. Totally sux.

The cusp players are giving some effort. Guess is what it is.

I liked that in his interview Foles owned his interception and said he will learn from it. Full on leader at least in that. I'm not giving up my hope in him during the pre-season.

Don't worry, I know already that we have total different opinions on football. Hence your opening comment in this thread tonight.

why is that funny? they played like they had taken sleeping pills or something.

Go Tanney. At least someone's cusp players are showing off.

And, some fun from Brown for a little TD pass from Mannion.

Sure hope game one this year v Hawks is nothing like our game one last year v Vikes. That was a horror.

Two very bad showings so far for Rams this preseason.

Still was fun to see them play.

Offense is a work in progress.

Offense is just plain not playing.

eta: Who do you put the interception on: Foles or Austin? I looked away for a second and haven't see a replay yet.

IDK. Britt was explaining himself on the sideline. Maybe he didn't hold his block.

All I know is the OL has to be a lot better. That's my number 1 concern at this time. They didn't have many good plays tonight, especially Robinson. Thank goodness they still have time before the real games start. This unit may just be tired from fighting the Cowboys and traveling all week. Thankfully nobody got hurt and that's the biggest thing with Preseason.
On the plus side, no one got ejected. There's a win unto itself.

Alice, there's a reason I said Foles did his usual. I'm not here to ruin your optimism but he's Foles and he's no longer in the kiddie division where it's okay to be a statue.

Two rookies on the right side against us? Arizona and even San Francisco? Really? It's going to be hilarious...for us at least given defense isn't our issue especially the pass rush Jesus and Mary.

My guess is this is prolly the aftermath/fallout from the brawl several days ago. Fisher lost control of that team at least for one practice. We'll see if it lingers. [Cowboys and Rams brawl]

That Foles pick 6 was brutal. He looked left, paused, saw Cox wide open, saw Britt behind Cox, then said eff it and threw it right to Cox anyway. That was a massive head scratcher. I have to give Chip credit for somehow allowing him to have a 119 QBR.

You are correct in having a QB that escapes the rush extremely well. However, Foles can see over the linemen. It goes both ways. So far Rams and SEA's OL are both causes for concern.

All I know is the Tenn was overplaying everything and STL disguised very little. Our bread and butter is the PA pass. We did it so little tonight. Pretty sure that was by design. Gotta save all our tricks for week 1, ya know. Lol

Hope Saffold can stay healthy because our reserves, Brandon Washington, are terrible. We have a lot to fix before week 1. I'm not optimistic after seeing this game, but I'll still be there. M

Announcers said tonight Todd Gurley is looking to be a go week 1, or on the lines of that. That really scares me.

I have complete respect for your opinion on Foles and on anyone else who has an opinion.

I just am so happy our QB is not Bradford that I am not going to judge the new guy until he proves he is bad.

What really made me "unhappy" as a nice way to put it is watching Mariota tonight, even seeing him on the bench look competent, seeing what Luck has done and knowing when the Rams had the #1 pick we got Bradford. Makes me very, um, "unhappy."

So, I'm having hope as long as I can. You can't ruin any of my optimism as it will all be based on fact as it unfolds either postive or negative.

Fisher didn't lose any more control than Garrett. Actually, Dez was yelling so much prior to any, anything physical I would say Garrett lost control before Fisher did.

Nice, thanks for hanging in and commenting on the game SM28. :)

Our Oline is a major hazzard issue. I saw an article somewhere that said the NFC W is the toughest division in the NFC but also has the worst Olines of any division. AZ might have the best I think? Not sure.

I do not want to see Gurley playing week 1 or even the first few. Oh does he look good though - excited to see him full force. Hopefully he's not rushed. You can see his impatience and his mind working on the sides even during the game tonight.

As to your STL disguised very little. I think you meant that STL showed very little? And, I agree. Fisher has made comments on pre-season before and I actually think the starters were barely playing.

However, if his plan is not backed up with wins in the regular season it's a problem. And, I see nothing yet that points to a winning season as they all seemed out of sync with each other. They were way more in sync in practice than what I saw tonight.

So another Fisher trick, test the back ups, sand bag with the Starters to give bad film reference.

@Chris: yep. That is my interpretation of it.

I watched a private practice where they moved in sync pretty good on D. I was fascinated with how they knew what to do.

It was not what we saw tonight.
