I am afraid they have given the league the keys to stop us.. 8 man in the box, and man up recievers.. we better do something about this o-line.. Better not see Mc-whatever out there again!

The Saints have a pretty damn good front 4. I'm glad we're playing them at home. If we have to visit them on the road in the playoffs, we're toast..

It was a pathetic display of play calling. Literally no adjustments to help out the protection. Sticking with 3 wide/pistol formation all game long. No chipping of the ends. Just kept mashing that round peg into the square hole over and over and over.

Of course, it's not even that close without the garbage penalties. Like 6 bailout calls on third down?

Rams have played us tough the last three contests. Even the game up here to end last season was tight. That team has tools and if they ever get their offense right, they could be pretty dominant. Wilson didn't make the game losing mistake despite our tackles' best efforts to decapitate him.

Yeah, I was expecting some effective halftime adjustments on O. The TV coverage even showed RW looking at all-22 snapshots. But the O still couldn't get going in the 2nd half.

gotta just huck it up quick-like to the single-covered guys and make the completion. kearse dropping that slant was bad... and russ overthrew a couple of other short plays prior to that. the rams pass rush was brutal. no time. gotta get the ball out. or pound it, and hope for something like -2 -2 +14

I would like to see this team with a semi-healthy O-line and Wilson with some time to make plays. The offensive play calling was HORRIBLE, I hope this was a wakeup call and the tackles get some help next week and until the regulars get back, because Wilson can't take this beating all year, and the D can't save every game, or maybe they can. It would be nice to see a little more creativity with play calling on offense and maybe give Wilson a little bit better protection when you go against a STRONG front seven with two below average tackles.

I'm with you here, I was shocked that we didn't have a drive here or there, that were run, run, run or run, run, pass, Mainly just a bit more rushing would have been nice to see even if they were three and out, just to ware down the Rams front seven.

Funny, Fischer's Rams dominated our offensive line twice last season even when they were healthy and the offense was fine most other games.

That slant should have never been thrown, those are bad calls even if they work. The end was completely untouched and could have barreled into Wilson at full speed if Wilson is just a hair slower.

We weren't giving backup OL help, and then people are calling for their heads? Howabout the idiot putting them in that position?

Half the calls had us screaming at the TV before the ball was snapped because it was clear they were dumb and ineffective. We weren't adjusting to the pressure, we were calling plays that kind of pressure affected. Playing to their strengths instead of adjusting to their weaknesses. Either way, when the casual observer can reliably pick the outcome before the snap, it is stupid play call.

Just like the Colts screwed the Broncos and the Patriots screwed the Saints?

All the Rams did was tell people that you can kick the crap out of Seattle's horrible o line. That's not exactly something novel.

Either our o line gets it together and doesn't suck as awfully as they did tonight (and the last couple games, quite frankly), or they do, and in that case, we're screwed regardless. The Rams didn't do anything amazing. Don't fall for what Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden spewed all night. The Rams didn't do anything other than take advantage of a CFL caliber o line.

Yep. A blueprint is no good if you don't have the materials to put the project together. Few others have the personnel to
carry out what the Rams did.
