Question for Draft Experts

This year we actually took the guy that was on a lot of boards for us. I can’t recall the last time that’s happened. Was hoping someone here knew

You’re right and I knew that but wasn’t thinking about last year for some reason. Just seems like we don’t go with the consensus first rounder in most years

I think the last 4 drafts they we seem to be taking mostly known players and in their consensus big board range. Been awhile since I've heard the collective "who?".

For the last several years we have been picking outside their box. I think they adjusted their box to fit what we would desire. Team needs have changed a tiny bit.

Yep, the only first round pick we've made this decade that was shocking was JSN, and that was only because he had been expected to be long gone.
