What does Luck have over Wilson? Well the same number of regular season wins with a much, much worse team.

Heresy though.. I'll be burnt at the stake.
Colts- 2008 12-4
2009 14-2
2010 10-6
2011 2-14 drafted luck
2012 11-5
It obvious they sucked for luck other than loosing Peyton that team has been the same. Yeah Seahawks are better but not by a lot. The colts had 1 bad year and they are said to be aweful. I don't buy in to that. Luck is good and they finished 11-5, they are not much much worse than us. It's not like Wilson only runs play action. He drops back runs around and makes every throw.

When you have no running game, QB efficiency drops. If Andrew Luck had to throw less than every other team in the NFL as Wilson did this year, no doubt he would have a higher completion percentage and less interceptions.

Such a B.S. excuse. Green Bay had less rushing attempts than Indianapolis. How did that affect Aaron Rodgers? Oh, he completed 67.2% of his passes and led the NFL in passing efficiency. It's amazing how many excuses people make for Luck.

Aaron Rodgers is amazing. If you tried to make that argument with someone like Kolb you might have ground to stand on.

Rogers also has been in that system for a long time with the same OC and a very good receiving core.

I agree that Indy was never a two win team but Luck really is a very good QB. In our system he would have looked much better.

None of that takes away from Wilson but the answer as to who really is better is still unanswered and may be for a long time.

So, replace Kolb with Luck in your statement then and you've admitted the validity of his argument.

I am fine with where he was ranked. Jaws didn't really say anything negative about Russell too. Although I don't really like him having Kaep higher, but can't win them all.

OK guys, it's the same story and it isn't gonna change. Like the Hawks as a team, Wilson will never get top billing outside of Seattle until he wins the big one. Once that happens he will get his fair share of top dog comments.

All their mouths will shut once Russ and team wins a SB trophy. Then they will be on his nuts for years to come. He will be greater than Luck and RGIII. BOOK IT!

C'mon guys, this is football basics. I know it's exciting to have a good QB, but you can't be so blind to the fact that Lynch makes a HUGE difference in the passing game.

Luck is a good QB, and could become great, no doubt about it.. But so is RW, why would i trade a brand new porche for another brand new porche? That's like trading Brady for Manning in their prime?

If our QB was say Palmer or Romo or someone along those lines, then heck ya i'd trade for him in a heartbeat.

Add another one that wouldn't trade Wilson for Luck.

Their careers will be the separators, but I'm completely fine saying it right now.

Luckily for Luck, he has every chance to be as good as Wilson. ;)

I wouldn't trade Wilson for anybody , But for Wilson to be ranked 12th? That's FINE with me.

not sure why some people get angry over those things but then again that's why these lists are made.

You honestly wouldn't straight up trade Andrew Luck for Wilson? Just imagine what Luck could do with those WRs and that defense... It would be incredible to see.

Yeah his 54% comp % and 6.98 YPA were breathtaking.

You forgot the oh so impressive 18 interceptions.

I'm pretty proud of the fact that Russell rates so high, and am glad he's above Griffin. It's hard to compare the 3 based on the quality of running game, receivers and defense because they don't play the same schedules.

One could argue that Russell had to fly a lot more miles than the other 2 and that puts him at a disadvantage. Plus he had to play 3 great defenses, AZ, SF and St Louis. Griffin played against a down NFC East and IIRC, Luck got the Titans twice who allowed more points than any other team in the NFL.

So it's "somewhat" Apples and Oranges and it's all subjective. I think it's a fair ranking but I prefer Russell over the other two because he's smarter, works harder, and knows how and when to run. Plus, everyone said he was too short to play in the NFL. So there's a HUGE disadvantage right there (according to some). But the same people who said that voted for RGIII as ROY. If they believed their own opinions, they should have voted RW in.

His spot is just fine by me, though i still would have put him ahead of Kaep. Brock and Danny said that 8 of the active QB's have won Superbowls, so having a player going into his 2nd year having those kind of players in front of him is a sign of respect.

Oh absolutely not, on draft day yes, but after seeing him work from day one, not a chance.

Wilson is more than I could ask for in a QB. I wouldn't frown on Luck, but Wilson was meant to be a Seahawk. He has a loyalty to the team that Luck would have never had since they were the team that gave him the chance that many others wouldn't. EVERYONE wanted Luck, he knew he would go number one or two.

Wilson will separate himself from the rest for a variety of reasons. By the end of this season, no one will question it or have notions of another QB,.

WOW talk about wanting to hate on things. RW is after a rookie year ranked the 12th best qb in the league. Who cares about the exact spot? As much as you want him above others people can make arguments for or against that and next year they may be proven right but hopefully everyone will put RW on a top five list next year.

There is a ton of love out there for what RW did the first year. Some want to see more, some say you don't need to see more just walk into the season knowing he is currently ranked in the top 1/3 of the qbs in the league and you think he should be higher.

WHEN is the last time you felt that way about a Seahawks QB? Just take it - enjoy it and see what else comes on the list. Complain a bit, bring up facts - sure but there are to many posts out there about how stupid the commentators are, they are idiots etc just because they come to a different conclusion that you guys.....
