I think the sane, reasoning part of my brain knew this year was going to be full of growing pains. The up and down nature of this team has me a little "car sick". I watch what I can tolerate and move on when I need a break. It's better for me that way.

The ups and downs are part of being a fan. I find it best to take it one game at a time. They might come out and shit stomp the Vikings this week. Or they might get their asses handed to them again. We never know. Either way, I will remain a fan and watch next week's game too.

I don't understand the high expectations some had here for this team. It's a brand new staff turning over a decent but not good roster.
This was always going to be a rebuild till they get the guys here that fit their new system and the players learn it (we have entirely different schemes on offense and defense) Being 8-6 at this point is a great job by this staff.

It's just part of being a fan. Some will think they're gonna' suck and go 5-12. Some will say they're going 12-5. Others in the middle somewhere. In that 8-9 win range.

From the day MM was hired all I expected was improvement and building towards something. No record prediction, just improvement. We have seen that, and hope to continue to see that. I'm satisfied. The playoffs would just be icing on the cake.
