You have to be smoking some really strong stuff if you think you can get Crosby with a couple 32 overall picks

I think the one thing we aren't discussing about next year's defense is how well the coaches in our division will adjust to it. Our division opponents will be looking at us as the team to beat to win the division, and how do they get over the hump. Shanahan and McVay are both great offensive minds. They'll adjust, then Mike will adjust to their adjustments. It's going to be a chess match for a long time. I'd love to be a homer and say Macdonald will own them twice a year, but let's face it. McVay and Stafford have done serious damage to our defense all three times we played. Yes, we got out with wins twice....but a play or two here or there and it's a different outcome. I'm a little less worried about Shanahan because he has not typically had much success against Macdonald. Doesn't mean he won't be figuring things out though.

Comprehension, I said I don't think we need him and that what we are doing works, he now has a few dings and thats usually a sign, he was the guy and got hammered for being the guy.

Coach Mac is already adjusting to the adjustments made after he adjusted to the prior adjustments and putting together potential adjustments to the adjustments after the next possible adjustments.
