I turn 67 next month, and I was born here. I'm looking forward to being a snowbird when I retire. A Pickup and 5th wheel toy hauler to put my Harley in, and I'll be touring the Lower 48, mostly in the south, all year. College playoff games, Shrine game, Senior Bowl, etc.

ivotuk, you've earned it. You're a true sourdough, hopefully not too sour, but with enough dough to leave when/if you want. It sounds like you have some wonderful adventures planned!

Most people retire and head to Alaska at some point. You're a lifer, having experienced stuff the tourists (keeping Alaska green) will never understand or see; now you can enjoy some of what life outside offers. I always appreciate your anecdotes and stories.

I've always wondered this... exactly how cold is a 'witch's tit'?

Anyone ever measure it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Some say it is colder than a well digger's heel, but I'm not sold on that.

I'm sure Rams will have everything imaginable on their sidelines to try to keep their players warm, including quantities of top-of-the-line heating equipment that borderline exceeds NFL/stadium rules. And massive Eskimo-like coats and/or coats with built-in electronic warmers. They'll spare no expense for sure.
