In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
I didn't see that but these little things matter and shouldn't be disregarded. If our players aren't jacked to go out and play a prime time game, there's a problem somewhere in the program. Say what you will about Pete, but his teams ALWAYS had high energy for games. Someone made a comment recently comparing MM to Jim Mora, at least as far as energy and demeanor goes, and I think there's something there.
When Mike Holmgren took over back in 1999, he cleaned house and brought in players who bought in to what he was selling. It's still early, but I think Macdonald may need to do something similar. Either way, this year is looking to be alot more up and down than even I expected.
I fully agree. Word for word!

DK, GENO among the worst body language on camera repeatedly during the game others did not look "into it" Big problem
There really does seem to be a palpable aura of "defeated" surrounding the team since late in the Lions game. And what we DON'T seem to have anywhere on the team is a vocal, borderline "CRAZY" leader on the roster that will "go off" on his teammates and get them amped up. Earl, Kam, BB, Red, Angry Doug ALL had that in shades, even if it didn't look exactly the same coming from each of them.

ETA: if I am somehow overlooking/not seeing who that is on this current squad then point them out.

Yeah, possibly. Still, it wasn’t a good look. Would have much preferred to see our boys getting each other fired up before running out onto the field.

We need a Red Bryant back in there. He did it for the Hawks every friggin play. Hyping them up..making them move..forcing them to actually enjoy work. Our hawks have been a sleep fest for the last several years

Enter Sandman would be my choice. Perfect. It builds and builds to the perfect crescendo.

The 49ers were also amped up and jumping around in the tunnel in the Super Bowl last year, whereas the Chiefs were calm and just standing around. We know how that game turned out.
