Was watching CNBC earlier today and they were talking to somebody with regards to the league meetings going on right now. They were talking about specific team that are on the market and that the Cleveland Browns may fetch around $9 billion. The host then asked about the Seahawks and the person said it’s a more difficult sale because Seattle is looking for a large percentage ownership from one person whereas other teams like Cleveland are willing to take a number of people or group and combine those monies for the purchase of a team. He said because the Seahawks are looking for a larger percentage ownership by one person if not entirely by one person, the pool of potential suitors is much lower. He said they have moved onto the next phase for those that have bid at least $6 billion on the team.

Jody doesn't have a time limit to sell; She can wait as long as it takes.
The right person will come along in time.

Something I was thinking about was they should put a stipulation in the purchase of the team that they cannot move the team.

I doubt it, it just said to be sold, not by any date or time ect.
Not knowing the details of Paul's will, Jody could be naughty by selling it to herself with a seller carry. Quite sure Jody wouldn't do that, no reason at all.

That's something for Seattle residents to worry about ........

................ I can think of many communities that would welcome the Seahawks with open arms.

I'm holding out hope they are just waiting for me to accumulate $10 billion. In due time. I'm only short roughly $10 billion.

I think a single majority owner would be more willing to spend money on the team and facilities, whereas a group might bicker and try to pocket every dollar of profit. Plus a group of people rarely agrees on anything, and it could be a morass of inaction when it comes to keeping the facilities top notch.

Which is why I think they are spending money on it now.
