Ok I figured with cuts coming we could have a bit of fun with this and go position by position with .Nets experts to see what we end up with as keepers. Comments welcome, not included are those on injury lists or unable to perform.
This one starts easy then gets a bit more complex to evaluate.
Quarter Back
7 Jackson, Tarvaris QB, Team brought him back for a reason, he has the locker room, he has shwon to be worledly this pre season and seemingly with out the pressure of proving he is the guy has been the guy, or at least Russell's back up. He stays
10 Quinn, Brady QB, Quinns reputation as a good film room guy and hard worker got him a shot, maybe T Jack knowing the playbook was an advantage but he just doesn't bring the confidence you want to the field in my eyes, if we go with two QB's Quinn is the odd man out.
3 Wilson, Russell QB, He's too short, but still stays on the team.
Running Back
40 Coleman, Derrick , Showed a bit of flash 1st pre season game but really nothing else after, I don't think they ask Bates to try FB if they think Coleman is a real deal Cut, showed enough where he may get a flyer somewhere else
24 Lynch, Marshawn , Stays
33 Michael, Christine , This kid has star all over him.
22 Turbin, Robert , The question mark, Ware or Turbin I think it will come down to, Ware listed at FB but seems a natural RB and more like Marshawn Lynch type, Ware also blocks well and cathes the ball, Turbin does have good hands but his pass blocking has been less then adequete, if there is an odd man out in the group of Robinson, Ware, Micheal, Lynch, Turbin I think it's Turbin, then again we could keep 5 easlily.
Strong Safety
31 Chancellor, Kam , Stays
27 Guy, Winston, Cut, has a great physical profile but has not shown up really in any games, cut or traded.
32 Johnson, Jeron He keeps hanging around and could be a starter for a few teams, were fortunate to have him, deal could be made for him as well by some team, would hate to lose him though
