buckle up kiddos this is a 6-7 win season. Sorry if that doesn't line up with your expectation but that is reality. We will come out a different team on the other side. More physical and a top 10 defense that doesn't look like a shit show every week. This isn't a Pete Carroll team and it's not going to look like one.

7-10.

I think every game for the rest of the season will be a scrap as this team finds itself. I think one of the wins will be against SF, as a kind of "Macdonald returns a little wiser and aware" when it comes to dealing with SF, but that's wishful thinking.

injuries are the big question. If everybody is healthy, we could snag another 8 wins. Depth is our biggest issue.

Fully healthy, our defense can slow down any other team enough to keep our team in the game, and that will make even our offensive line look better.

We have no depth, though, so everybody has to stay healthy for the team to have that level of success.

We got 3 more games until the bye. We got the Falcons next then Buffalo, and the Rams. Of those 3 games we'll best the Falcons, lose a close won to the Bills and we beat the Rams. So, 5-4 going into the bye week. After the bye is when I think we'll start seeing MAJOR improvement. I think we finish 11-6 and make the tournament. I believe in Macdonald, he will fix this.

I think we split with the rams and get swept by the tards and whiners. Realistically who are we going to beat? I see 2 or 3 more wins.

Remaining games are:

Falcons away- Loss
Buffalo Home- Loss
Rams here- Win
SF away- Loss
tards here- Loss
Jets away- Win
tards away- Loss
Packer here- Loss
Viqueens here- Loss
Bears away- Loss
Rams away- Loss

My prediction before the season started was 10-7, I am downgrading it to 9-8. Here is why:

As bad as Geno and our offense looked, boys scored 20+ points in each of the 6 games we played. Our offense could score more if the defense made a couple more stops each game. Our defense went from good in the first three games, playing lousy teams, to bad in the recent three games, when we played better opponents.

I suspect our defense will improve some in the remaining games and hopefully, our offense won't regress.

In the three games that we lost, we were in at least two of those till the end, if football God were to be kinder to us, we could be sitting at 5-1

I voted 11-6. Pure optimism, I didn't even look at the schedule before I voted. (But, in my defense, I'm admitting that it's pure optimism and not trying to pretend otherwise... I see a number of posts here trying to pass off pessimism/cynicism as realism.)

If I WERE to look at the schedule and try to be as objective as I possibly can be as a Seahawks fan, I see a lot of 50/50 games, 2 games where we are obvious favorites, and 3 where we are obvious underdogs. If I split the 50/50 games down the middle, that puts us at 8-9. (That said, I don't ACTUALLY think the Rams or Cards games are legit 50/50 games, those teams both look worse than us. But, you know, division.)

A lot is going to depend on how the team responds to this bad stretch we just had and how much getting healthy makes a difference. We'll know a lot by how the team looks against Atlanta.

I'm split between 7 and 8 wins. I voted 8 to let the optimism flow.

C'mon man, no way in hell we lose 5 in a row. With this mini bye week then the full bye coming up we'll get better.
Falcons - Win
Buffalo - Loss
Rams - Win
49ers - Win
Cards - Loss
Jets - Win
Cards - Win
Packers - Win
Vikings - Loss
Bears - Win
Rams - Win

Murphy could be on the verge of returning, or he could be out for a stretch yet. Hammies can be a booger. The health of our first line players is the barometer for how we could finish, not counting some general improvement that seems like would be natural progression for new coaches and young players. Thing is we still have a lot of important guys who are less than 100%. While that remains the case we will have a rough time of it.

I agree, but I won't be surprised or shocked if we win the rest of our games.
Dude what? I salute the positivity but what exactly have you been seeing that makes you think we're going to win 7 more games? We lack talent. It's the biggest issue. Weve run through like 8 different O coordinators. That tells me it's not the coaching so much as it's a lack of talent especially on the O-line. You just arent going to win many games with the worst oline in the league and a bottom 5 defense. That's what we are right now. Throw in the fact that we might be the most injured club in the league and this thing looks like its going to spiral out of control. I'm not seeing it.

I know it's not gonna happen, but if it does all I'm saying is I won't be surprised. Realistically, we'll win 10-11 games. I just feel like were gonna put it all together.

I've been learning how to watch film from a friend. I've seen almost all the plays especially the run defense. It's all fixable stuff. It's all gap assignments issues. I believe in Macdonald, I'm bought in. The BIGGEST issue on why we are getting our asses handed to us is because we're one dimensional. It's not the defense, it's Grubb and his stupid pass happy offense, we got no balance. That dude is bringing that college mindset bullshit to the NFL and it ain't working. It's effecting the whole team.

We will finish with the best record of the non-playoff teams. Purgatory.
