Skip. Although, I was at my ex-wife's house today and me and my boy were watching Sportscenter and Steven A. Smith was on there yappin about Russell and I swear to you the look my daughter gave me as she said "why the hell does he talk like that!?" kinda scared me . Can I take back my vote?

I don't watch most of them, so I don't have much to say about them. I do watch Florio and Simms, and I find them pretty good, although Florio alone would be a little too pretentious for me. I'm aware of Smith and Sharpe because I sometimes watch them during my morning exercises before work. Smith is entertaining at times, but is a little too full of himself and a blowhard. Sharpe doesn't do much for me, though a great player he was, and when he sticks to that he's okay. I do like Mad Dog Russo though. He amuses me, and is a good historian of sports in general.

I don't know. I just tune them out if not interested, informed, or entertained by them.

When he was on local radio in NYC, Stephen A. Smith was entertaining and hilarious. When he used to lament the fortunes of the Jets, it was priceless. Now, he's terrible.

Florio, now that NBC no longer has Peter King, is doing nothing but trafficking in rumor. Florio isn't a reporter, so he doesn't actually go and find out real news. He just comments on what other people report. Anyone can do that as well as he can, because he's no sports expert.

Too close to call between Florio and Rome. I used to love Rome too. Now I can't stand the sound of his voice.

Even though it's looking like Skip is retiring (mercifully) my vote went to him. Skip Bayless invented, or at least made it trendy in sports journalism, the "Hot Take". IMO, sports media being as unwatchable as it is today is due in large part to Skip.
