If you could poach one player from each NFC West team, which three would you take?

Mine (as a Rams fan) would be the following:

Seahawks: Earl Thomas. I considered going with Richard Sherman but, while the Rams are fairly strong at CB, safety is a position of concern. Thomas would be a huge upgrade, and is probably a player who has not peaked yet.

Cardinals: Larry Fitzgerald: Even though he has a few miles on him, I think Fitzgerald is still potentially a top 10 WR.

Niners: Mike Iupati: With Harvey Dahl getting up there in years, and the other OG spot unsettled, Iupati would be a great solidifying force on the O line.

Right outside Richard Sherman's house
Rams: Michael Brockers. Would love to have him as part of our interior D-line.

Cardinals: Calais Campbell. More D-line!

49ers: Colin Kaepernick. I wouldn't actually have him doing anything on our team other than holding a clipboard, but taking leaves the 49ers with garbage at the QB spot, and that's a win.

I disagree.

Now, would you care to answer the question?

Because that might help make the thread appropriate for the official Seahawks forum, for one. I would more bet on this topic getting moved more than you would agree with a Seahawks fan on Wilson. Fun topic of discussion, though, I guess, at least for some. I thought it would be easy to make choices, but there's a lot of talent in the NFC West and it would depend on the strategy.

The question that has been asked 3 or 4 times already this offseason?

Obviously, I don't hang around here enough to be aware of prior threads that posed the same question.

Since some of you seem to be missing the point here, let me be clear.

I started this thread because I was curious what you think of the players on the other West teams' rosters (particularly, the Rams). I did not do so to engage in yet another debate about Russell Wilson and/or Sam Bradford, nor did I do so to clog your board with repetitive threads.

For those of you trying to turn this into a smack battle... do you really want to act like Whiner fans? I thought you were better than that.

(Not sure of the spelling on those names, and I'm too lazy to look them up)

Wait, which Long is the DE? That's the one I want.

And I think I'll change my answer to Dockett as well. Or at least make it a coin flip.

Man this is tough, but for the Rams....

If you held a gun to my head, Brockers. we need more interior pass rush, but it would be a coin flip with Chris Long

Niners: Vernon Davis. Coin flip with Iupati...neither is a position of real need, with both being decent upgrades.

Cards: If I went Chris Long, then I'd go with Dockett here. If I went with Brockers, then I'd go Fitzgerald.

I'm loving the answers about Kaepernick. Taking him would handicap the Niners something fierce and would work for me.
