ALL that matters this reg season is us getting the #1 seed in the NFC. Denver is gonna steamroll the AFC and likely be #1 in most polls as the season progresses, and that's fine. Who cares. If and when in a dream scenario that we get them in the Superbowl, they wouldn't have faced a Defence anywhere like what we have all season long. I actually love that the SB is played outdoors this year. With our defence & running game, I'll take what we have against anybody the AFC can put out there, Denver included. Lets also not forget that Denver's secondary likes to resemble swiss cheese in the playoffs and Peyton goes out almost every single year on a couple bad INT's

The Broncos deserve to be in the 1 spot. They have looked amazing out of the gate. The Hawks deserve the recognition, but haven't looked better than Denver has this year. Interesting that both teams had a long winning streak to end the season last year, both lost in the divisional round of the playoffs on very unlikely late pass completions and both have beat the 2012 AFC and NFC champions within their conference.

denver will no doubt go 14 - 2 this year

(then one and done in playoffs).

i wish these guys would stop judging teams by how many points they beat opponents by and actually watch the games.

Clady on IR. Broncos go 10-6.

I wouldn't be shocked if they went 9-7 or 14-2. 90% of their success depends on Manning's ability to not throw picks.

Clady on IR makes things very interesting. They are also without their starting center. Manning is likely to have protection problems this year. They might still go to the Super Bowl, but with those two key linemen out, they probably aren't winning it.

With the injuries and Miller ordeal, they deserve every win they get. Do they (now) deserve the 1 spot? Hell no. Their o-line is (now) worse than ours and their defense not nearly as good. It's a recipe for hate.

Manning has earned the cult following he has (I'm in), but kind words and expressed confidence from the media isn't going to protect his blindside. I sincerely wish him good health the rest of the way. So confident am I that we are the better team, if we were to meet them in the SB tomorrow, I'd make us a 10 pt favorite (yes, I know Vegas wouldn't...I'm only saying I would).
