Im kind of at a loss with people bashing on Petes philosophy. We arent following through with his philosophy is the issue, not the philosophy itself. It is exactly how you win football games consistently in this league and more importantly it is how you win in January and February. Flashy offense is cool and it sells tickets and fantasty is awesome blah blah blah. But its not how you won Super Bowls.

As far as getting rid of Carroll or biding time until he is gone, Im not sure who you think we are going to end up with thats better. There isnt a coach in this league that could take this roster that we have now and win more than what we are doing right now. Pete is far from perfect in many aspects but he us fine. His philosophy is rock solid. We have a lack talent on the field (Schneider) and with our coaching staff (that is a Pete thing.)

The Patriots have the model for winning consistently and winning in the playoffs, not the Seahawks. It's not even about their weak division, if it was they wouldn't win superbowls and playoff games consistently against good teams. The current model of this team wins consistently due to stellar quarterback play, but falters against good opponents.

Pete still acts like he has the same players on defense as 5 years ago and refuses to change gameplans for different opponents more often than not.

It helps to get first downs and when the offense doesn't give away points. That's not part of Pete's Philosophy. And for those clamoring for more passes from Russ, you got your wish today.

I hate this argument. Where were you when we were more aggressive and won the past couple of weeks?
