Good move! Excited that his vision will live on through at least the next few years.

That creates consistency within the organization thru the first year of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement too. I appreciate this well thought out plan by the Ownership. They are thinking ahead.

The game has passed him by.

Same thing that happened at USC.

POO POO on all y’all that wanted him gone just a few weeks ago.
I say POO POO on you.
You'll never find me saying that I did..I think JS I may have
and still wouldn't be upset if he did go.

We need to be concerned with Pete’s health as he ages.

I understand that there’s really nothing we can do but I’m in for some Prayers, Thoughts, and positive vibes.

You know, whatever stuff like that we do as individuals.

IIRC last time Pete got extended John didnas well but we didn’t hear about it until months later. Hopefully that’s the case here as well

Schneider was extended 5 years in 2016, so the end of their current contracts now align.

Can you imagine this thread (and how different it would be) had it been in September??

Funny reading the overwhelming positivity when seemingly 9 in 10 posters wanted him fired a few months ago :)

Winning unexpetedly cures all

Love it

Good. I've been critical of him but I think he's done a great job of righting the ship this year and setting us up for years of success down the road.

You know, I wonder if this explains that moment in his post game presser, where he kind of grinned and said "Merry Christmas." Do you suppose he already knew?
