Pocket Urlacher seemed like he was ready to ball and remained loose at the same time (explains his Captain status).

Everyone else seemed backed into a corner and pissed.

I wonder if some players would prefer if Pete lost his s**t once in a while and got pissed.

Nah, I appreciate Pete's calm, steady and positive demeanor. The guys were down on themselves that they put themselves in this position and Pete was there to pick them up.

He catches a lot of flack for that stuff but look at the other side of the coin, Schiano is a ball buster disciplinarian and he's lost his team. Of course losing doesn't help either but still, you want to play hard for a guy who's got your back and pumps sunshine up your ass.

I appreciate his leadership. I've played high level athletics- throwing a sh*t fit just causes tension- tension is the antithesis of athletic performance. Play loose, have fun.

The energy level of this team seems really low right now....but this is the grind part of the season.

I have no doubt things will pick up as we start heading into the playoffs. Now is not the time to peak, as long as they are maintaining and winning, it'll be fine.

I want these guys to peak and catch fire in December, not now.

All the players love playing for Pete. The last player who didn't appreciate Pete's approach was a guy named Flynn, who who came out best on that deal..?

There seemed to be a... "Shut up, Pete" type vibe on a few of those clips. Not necessarily in an overly negative way, more a way of not appreciating the ultra positive approach when you're getting your arse kicked.

LOL, the LOB looked PISSED when they were sitting on the bench.

Let's hope this is a wake-up call...they hit the snooze button after the Texans and Rams games.

I couldn't tell if they wanted Pete to go away or they were simply so ticked off at themselves that they didn't know how to react or have the energy to do so without going off.

The expression of the defense on the sidelines and in the locker room mirrored my own once we went down 14 nothing.

I was screaming and hollering when the defense was on the field, but never actually felt like cheering except when we
finally kicked the field goal in OT.

Maybe it is the the long time fan in me, always waiting for the Same 'Ol Seahawks to appear. I'm glad the team and
games continue to exceed my expectations, but I'm still trapped in this stupid funk until I see us starting to click in
all three phases of the game with more consistency.

The D knew they let down and you could see it in their faces. Pete being positive just made what they were feeling / thinking worse. They did what they had to do without being distracted by antics from the HC. This is a young team but you can tell they all take ownership of the collective performance. Along this same stream of thought, they know they can perform better and expect to perform better. This is a sign of a very mature team.

Look at the hawk players in the locker room after the game. Not a lot of elation there, eh?
I think that they were pissed at themselves for coming out flat, and getting embarrassed with their lackluster performance in front of the home crowd.
This should be a damned good wake up call for these guys.
It shows how easy it can be to let one get away from you, when you maybe take another team for granted, hell, I think even Carroll was unpleasantly surprised by the get after it play by the Bucs.

Nothing too special

I wouldn't say that at all. It was pretty awesome seeing them not waiver one bit down 21-0. Other teams get down like that, fold, fight on the sidelines....

What would losing his s**t accomplish?

The team looked down and tired to me. Sometimes building anger and frustration can help motivate if done occasionally and in the right way. It was just the vibe of the players almost ignoring Pete on the sidelines made me think of it. Was just a question, I love Pete's approach and positive attitude.
