Word was it's a 4-6 month recovery frame. Percy isn't yet at month 5. Is that protracted?
It is when he was far enough along in his recovery to have started practicing 7 weeks ago, played in a game a month ago without any apparent re-injury, then hasn't even practiced since then. I'd say that's a protracted recovery.
I think we're starting to realize that his "comeback" game vs. the Vikings was purely for selfish reasons, rather than he was actually healthy.
No one can tell me 10 snaps in one game was enough to set his recovery back what now, another month almost and he's still not ready to go? That tells me either Percy DOES have the ability to play sore, or he never should have played in that game in the first place..........especially if it means he might be shut down for the rest of the season.
